i think this thread belongs in either imagineer or rumor mill. and... I don't know.
k-peek - please let the mods/admins do their job. We do not need to be told when something needs to be moved. If there is a problem post, please use the report a post function and not post in open forum. - - THANKS! RU
I am going to move this to rumors since it would be pure speculation or imagination. Currently, Disney has no plans for that area. I'd like them to turn the platform into a photo spot.

...the Old exit to the Chairlifts at Disneyworld is now stroller parking for
Small World. That was funny. I sat there with a mum having a chat about Dumbo. Memories.

I think the park is better off without it. It looked like more of an eyesore than anything else.

Yeh they're as tacky as a Winter Hat in Summer.
Most parks around the world, except for San Diego Zoo for some reason, have taken out Chairlift/Skyway tracks cos if you get stuck up there...you're stuck. They need like fire engine ladders to get you out and people drop their shoes and stuff while hobbling down them.
Disneyland doesnt need them anymore. They were trendy back in the 80's or whenever but yeh they're out out out now. They'd only help lazy people who can't be bothered walking. Laziness is out.

^ Sea World also has their chairlift as it does provide a pretty nice view of Mission Bay.

I would like for them to open it up, and then just jave like meorial pictures in the station of Fantasyland, like pictures of the ride, and then that's it, like a tribute to it!

A tribute is a nice idea.
It'd be cool to have a Fantasyland "Disney Gallery" sort of thing for people to see Concept Art & old photos & stuff and reminise. Oooh and have a coffee shop.
Oh, and in regards to Seaworld...
Seaworld in Australia should just be a zoo.
No one even goes to it on ther own accord.
They only go cos they have to cos its part of that cost effective 3 Park Superpass.
Offensive Australian parks. BAH.
Seaworld San Diego is fun cos theres Manatees.
Perhaps San Diego don't mind if their patrons get stranded a million metres above the earth in flimsy fibreglass death cages....
Who knows anymore...

Hey! I like Journey To Atlantis! But, I think you're right on this because if they are good at turning adventure parks to theme parks, Sea World San Diego would have more attractions besides the observation tower years ago. Either way, that park is more fun than I thought.

Time to get back on topic: What are some other idea that you think Disney will do with the SkyWay stuff?

I say leave the building.
Never ever have a skyway again ever. ever. never.

I LOVED the skyway! It was a nice break on your feet, and I loved the different perspective you could get of the park, kinda like a birds eye view. I completly understand why they removed it, but I still miss it:( Oh, and I beleive the chairlift ride a the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is still around also;)
