there is talk about test track being installed on the timond parking lot, which would be really cool since it is a very popular ride at epcot, and i think it would fit nice at DCA!

Does SOund Neat! I really Think They Should Just Eliminate that Parking Lot on Open up a whole Other Land. I would Really Like to see Dinosaur! They could do like a whole La brea tarpits theme to fit into the California Theme.

Actually, I heard a rumor that they'd develop a test-track-like ride and theme it to the Incredibles.
What this has to do with California I have no idea.
Feel free to clarify...

Actually the rumor that has been going around is that there will indeed be a Test Track where the Timon parking lot is, however it will not be themed as an Incredibles ride but instead it is rumored to be be themed after the up and coming pixar film Cars. This rumor i believe originated over at miceage where one of their staff reported this was being discussed over at TDA

where would people park if they took out the timon lot. I know there are more parking lots but the timon lot is still always full and they do need it sometimes.

It would be cool if they put Test Track in the Timon parking lot, that way we don't have to go all the way to Florida to ride it.

Yeh I heard about the Cars "Test Track" ride. Cos since California should really be called Pixar Adventure it makes sense they'd be doing something like that.
If they happened to put that Dinosaur ride from Florida in people would be instantly offended as it is just the Indiana Jones layout but with palm trees inside. I was instantly offended the minute I rode it, as Indy is so much better. I was suprised to not see Mara there calling me an infidel at one point.

Although La Brea (tarpits) have little to do with dinosaurs as they are with early mammals, i.e., mastodons and giant sloths.

Even though it'd be the 2nd wild mouse in DCA, I'd rather see Primeval Whirl.

pixar just like bought out DCA with all their rides there and stuff. But that would be awesome if they put test track even if it is Cars. But dinosaur would not work well with Indy ride, probably would not be popular.

I don't care for Mulholland Madness.
I know its there to bag on the "old style tooth chipping mad mouse" coasters
of carni coasters, buts its still as offensive as a carni coaster.
Primeval World was fun cos you could spin, although it sorta makes you sick. They should just chuck in a Mount Everest in the Timon Parking lot. That'd be funny and confusing to all concerned

That would be hilarious. Anyways, I think they should just demolish this whole idea on "Cars" (the movie) and just theme it like it should be. Just a plain old highway car ride, it's that simple.

Hmm a new hotel and a extended downtown disney! Muahaha! I agree with puting a massive E ticket in, but make it original, something worth going to dca to ride, when you can just go ride it in flordia? One of a kind please! jah...

Any new ride in DCA would be a big help, but Test Track could be a fun thing to have and probably not difficult for them to put in a short amount of time.

I think any ride utilizing the Test Track technology would be cool, it could showcase the way Californians drive!!! Lol.

it's not like Florida's right around the corner! besides, Test Track would serve as a starting point, as in the theme of a high speed car attraction. But the ride itself could be exclusively original to DCA, as in not being like a testing facility but having a story relating to the movie.

I feel like DCA is kinda going towards Pixar,it should have another land called Pixar Adventure. They should have put monsters inc. there.

Actually I changed my mind. I really would hate to see another WDW clone at DLR and especially in the Timone lot. The Timone lot is the last space available for DLR expansion. Why waste it for a WDW clone. Why not use it for somthing that could really shine! That would make WDW's EE look down on shame. Think about it. It's the last portion of walt's dream (its parking lot at least). It should be somthing amazing!

Acually they are bulding a new parking stuctre as last I heard my moms coworkers boyfriend was working on the starting of the structre so that would solve the parking problem and it would most likely replace the Timone parking lot.

I dont have anything against "Cars", but I dont really want to see anything named after it...even if it does fit the whole test track theme. There are already too many classic things being turned modern...and I will tell you right now, I LOVE that Timon parking lot!!!! Putting test track in DCA would be great though.

hmmmm....... I think it would depend if CARS is a good movie.... if it wasent, they probably wouldnt
base a ride after it.......

Please tell me we haven't sunk so low that we're now just looking at every movie that comes down the pike, determine its worthiness, and decide to build a ride based off of it or not. Whatever happened to bloody originality?!

I have a quick question... Does the DLR monerail run to DCA? If not then that could be what the expansion could be.

^ There are no plans to add a DCA stop to the Disneyland Resort Line (Monorail's new name when it comes back online). I posted a rather long post a while ago about how adding a DCA stop would be incredibly difficult if not impossible.

yea its kind of stupid to make it go through there, because the only place where it would fit would be either in the Calif. grand which is stupid bc the stop is a short walk away, well not short but not to far. And the other spot could be in the old parking lot, but that woud cost way too much. Also i don't think they can add a station anywhere because then the cars would have to wait longer.
