Oh, great, another Pixar themed attraction. Is it just me, or does it seem like Pixar has bought Disney? LOL!

Well, after the Pixar film Cars is over, Disney is not doing Pixar unless they sign another contract. Each contract you can only make 6 pixar films.

Hey, thanks. It's good that there will be a Toy Story 3. I've been waiting five years. Of course, it takes a long time to make a Pixar film.
By the way, Toy Story 2 Special Edition is now on DVD (No, I don't work for Pixar of Disney).

If Steve Jobs was smart he'd demand an end to Circle 7 or he wouldn't agree to the renewal. We need to stop all these straight-to-DVD sequels now before it gets any worse.

^^uh, i know what you mean. really, do they make that much money? i just recently watched Mulan 2, and that sucked! not even the songs were that good.
But then again some have been good. Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas was very good and i enjoyed it very much. i was surprised that it wasn't released in theaters; i thought it was good enough...seeing the characters in 3D has changed my life! lol

I really think they should make a Finding Nemo 2 instead of the others. And an Incredible's ride would be reallly cool. It could pertain to the Incredibles at the boardwalk and then villians come. After that, there should be no more disney pixar rides. EVER

There's a rumor that another kid died on a ride. I highly doubt it but, you can research it if it tickles your curiousity...um...GO BAMBI 2 coming in Feb.!

These new sequels are going to wreak...box office sales are going to drop. Only The Producers and King Kong will hold them up...What else was I going to say...oh yeah! GO BAMBI!!!

ugg no more sequals to disney classics! example, "Cinderella 2...dreams come true," "mulan 2," [[toy story 2 is ok i love that one]] the other alladin movies, the other little mermaid movie. I disliked each oand everyoneof them i regret to say. but toy story 2 was A ok on my list :)
it totally butchers the idea of having a disney classic if you're going to make some weak sauce sequal. seriously they are imagineers in a special sort of way. making sequals is showing they cant think of anything else so tehy gotta take an older more chrished movie and make a sequal which has nothing to do with the continuation of the first. urgggg. :-/

Well, this seems to be a mute point now since Disney just bought PIXAR. It will be very interesting to see what Disney does now. What a shame if the days of awesome movies like Toy Story, Finding Nemo and the Incredibles are over.

What do the Incredibles have to do with California?
What do a lot of things that are in DCA have to do with California?
Look, if they insist on making Pixar-land, raze the park and make Pixar-land. Don't turn it into Disney's Schizophrenic-Theming-Nightmare-of-an-Adventure...

I think either retheme it completely. I can do 2 years without DCA. And make it into a 50's theme. Or just call it pixar land. Either way I dont care. Just keep california screamin' and soarin' and grr', wait theres no ' at the end of grr, sorry.

You know, I actually liked California Adventure's concept and theme...it really had a lot of promise. The Hollywood Section could have been like a mini-MGM Studios, Paradise Pier was nice and cute as a Carnival, the Wharf District was...wharfy, and the GRR area was nicely themed, as well as the other places. Grand Californian IN the theme park? Awesome! And I thought I was right when the Tower of Terror rolled in. Sure, some things could have been themed a little more thoughtfully, but on the whole, a very pleasant place to go. All it needed was time, just like Disneyland.
Then they came.
A Bugs Land arrived, and I remember thinking, "Ok, I guess this is cute...but what does it have to do with California?" :icon_ques Theory: An excuse to bring Animal Kingdom's show to Anaheim? People liked it, and so the floodgates opened.
So, time passes and DCA starts to mature, things that don't work are taken out, but what is put in its place? Monsters Inc?
Now the Incredibles are rumored to get in on it? What's next? Here's a hint, DCA: Don't lose the California charm you once had, lest you become Disney's version of Knotts Berry Farm; good ideas...follow throughs on those ideas, not so good... :icon_conf

Actually, It's Tough to be a Bug was there since the beginning with the "Farm area". I think that's where they got their inspiration to theme the whole area around it.

Ok, I can agree with Tough to Be's more remote relevance to California's farming industry, but why the Bug's Land? I think it should have been something more Cali-related.
RollingBoulder

I agree with you there. True, there are bugs everywhere, including California, but that doesn't make it right to just throw in a Pixar-themed land where it doesn't belong. Although, I must admit, FFF is a very nice area.

This whole discussion is an illustration of how messed up DCA really is & how badly it needs to get a total themeing makeover. Their little experiment in place-making looks to be a success, now watch the placemaking magic wand pass over the entire area.

While I love Bambi, I feel that Bambi 2 is ruining the impersonal relationship Bambi had with his father. Wasn't that a major theme of the original?

What gets me sorta ticked off is that when disney makes sequals to classic disney movies (Mulan,Cinderella,LATT,etc.) they just stink. I dont know why they keep making them. But with the Incredibiles ride I think thatll be neat, but Pixar just like is taking over DCA.
