I LOVED IT! There aren't that movies in a theather that please me, but I loved it! I have TiVoed three different versions of it!

Oh My Gosh! This is really freaky! I loved this movie to death, and I love this site, and this is my 100th post! YAY! That is so weird! My 100th post to my beloved site is about one of the greatest movies I have ever seen! GO VF and HCM!

i really liked the movie. The songs were catchy and the choreography was good too. And it looks like Disney stepped up their budget a bit, for CGI effects such as the fireworks at the New Year's party and things like that (compared to the cheap CG of Zenon 3).

The story I thought was a ok, not lousy, but not enough singing you know? sometimes there were large parts in between the singing with just talking. I dunno how well the basketball game worked into there; i would rather have seen some of the play being done so there was more singing. I think it should have ended with Gabby (and I can't remember the guy's name) singing a song from the play, instead of the blonde girl just congratulating them for getting the part.

The songs were really really good! I am definitely buying this CD for sure. My favorite songs were:

-The Finale ("We're In This Together" i think?) - this song had such a great beat and I loved the choreograper. Halfway through it I was up and doing that arm thing. Really good!

-The Lunchroom - This song had a great chorus and I loved how everyone started dancing around the table and stuff. Really Really good, probably my favorite song.

So this movie was very good. I would give it a A- cuz of the story and the long parts between the songs. I hope Disney does more (like Even Stevens: Influenza). See it!

i loved it when the twins(i guess) finished their song and the girl was like "i told you we're not doing jazz hands" and he reponded "everyone likes jazz." well its funny watching it.

I'm not usually a big fan of musicals. But, High School Musical has grabbed my attention and it's a movie I would enjoy watching over and over again. I recorded the premier, the sing-a-long, and now I'm going to record the movie with the making of the movie. I hope they make an another movie. I really like the songs in it and I'll consider buying it.

I know. While I was sitting watching it, I was thinking how i could turn it into a broadway show. really, there is nothing so terrible about the show in my opinion. The singing was amazing.

I personally thought it was ok. It was definatly better than a lot of the other DCOM movies. I think that for most of the DCOM movies the O (origional) should be taken out since it seems most of them are the same movie with different characters with a twist. I don't really remember seeing many DCOM movies that I liked. But it definatly was more origional. And I'm glad to see that Disney is starting to bring music back into their movies. And I do like Ashley Tisdale who played the stuck up girl. Also Maddie in the Suit Life of Zach and Cody which is one of the few Disney channel shows I like

I didn't like the movie but onstage it was awesome-I got to see the opening night of the first professional onstage version at the Fabulous Fox theatre in Atlanta, Georgia.

I HATED HATED HATED THIS MOVIE. I hated it

My eact opinion! I Only watched it because my favorite class was Taught by a subfor a week. One kid was allowed to bring this. The songs were too cheesy! the actors were so horrible that if one of the girls played Anne Frank on stage, that when the nazis came I Would shout out "Shes in the attic". I would rather be taken to be digested by a dragon, than to watch this film once more.
