Space Mountain 77 Recreation

Hey all, as i metioned in another thread im going to do a space mountain. Yep i started it music and all then i loaded some custom scenery and the only sceney i have now is generic:icon_evil
Even the custom scenery is gone and i have wild and it is supposed to be compatable. So not much is happening. I got the beging part going but since the scenery is messed up i can't use that file, so im going to reload or use a differnt window to do this. I have music but it doen't have the beging part like the part when you go up the lift to the countdown everything else i have. Anyway about a movie im not very good with the in game camera thing. Does anyone know if i can just hit the record button (i know there is one but forgot what key it is) while im on the ride? If anyone could email me the full music in a mp3 format so it works on RCT3 that'd be great. If not i'll either skip the chain lift thing and put something else in but i really don't want to. And if anyones good at custom cenery star walls would be great, or if someone knows how to make stars on paint so i can use it on bilboards that'd be great too! Hope to have some updates in a week or two.:old_wink:

Oh I hate you! lol I was going to do a Space Mountain recreation with Ryboxl2 (the guy who made the great matterhorn recreation). I'm still waiting for Jmainaz to finish up on the revenge of the mummy before me and him can start doing the next Fantasmic. Anyway good luck!

ok new update! I as of now am not going to make the exteriror of space mountain. Right now im just using a hanger looking sturcture. Sorta like the one in paris. Then everthing else is undergorund i may decide to do the mountain above that but not until i get the actuall ride done. also one of the dark ride sets that had the re colorable tunnels crashed my computer. It was the MNM darkride set. I think thats what crashed ry boxlys anyway i will have some pics soon.

you can't turn those lights off. they are a "default"

well im trying to base it off of the one in calif. right now the track isn't very accurate at all. I couldn't find anywhere with a good enough draft or layout of the track so the only thing accurate is the first lift. Also the staion isn't underground. i forgot that you can do that now with wild! so im going to release the bad one and then try and recreate a better one. if you have any layouts of the ride plz tell me the link. Also as of now i don't know how to record video i used to but i lost the manual. Im not going to mess with the stupid camera route editor but i do want to try and make a video. If i can't i can give you the file for the game.

might i recommend keeping it during the day. Just because the ride takes place at night doesnt mean that it should in the game too. Because you used marnetmars dark ride set. The light from the sun wouldnt effect the pitch black walls.

yeah most computers have microsoft movie maker unless you use 2000 or lower. Its very easy to create as long as you have it. This actually was my first video i made it in like ten minutes. And it was also my first time recording on RCT3, it kinda freaked me out because the fps. was really freakin slow then i saw the movie and it was faster. I think it records slowly and then they make it faster thus is why it doesn't record sound. One bad thing it makes the lasers look super fast, well more like two times there normal speed. Anyway im going to delete the whole thing. Well just the track before i roofed the ride i saved it in two files so the one that isn't completed is going to be the better version. Hey k_peek_2000? on the atari boards you wanted the music. So i'll try and email it too you but where do you and ryboxl find the layout? i want to know!!
P.S. for me weekends= computer time which = faster output of Space mountain awesomness. Wait...omg! orchastra regionals are this week. So i probably won't get as much done considering i did the space mountain in about 20 hours of work. It could be better and do you think i should make the track invisible? or not because if i record during the day the tracks stick out like a sorethumb. If i do it at night then the lights are on. So should i black wall the track or turn on invisible track?

Ok by the way a small update of pics. Im totally restarting the whole thing and what made me mad is that i finished all my chores then played the game for about three hours. So my mom decided to get mad and ground me from this game! luckily i got a few pics in before i was kicked off.

Ok everyone. Good news im getting the 50th cd with the space mountain music on it. Bad news it won't get here untill the 11th of 17th of febuary. So for now i work on the entrance, not the ride. I can't work on it because the ride has to be synced with the music so i need the music before i can make the ride. Im making the matince areas too. Picture update coming soon.

Sweetness, very good. It will be hard to synch the music because the 50th set doesn't come with the audio that leads up to the main part of the ride. (the lift hills) You could use a CD player, or an iPod or any music player so you could start the music at the top of the lift hill and slowly synchronize the ride to the music. And once you're all done with the ride and get an on-ride video you could just add the music in later with a video editing program :smile: Just a suggestion

That really sucks, im almost positive it has it for the old one.
BTW to make a video it doesn't record sound anyway, so i use movie maker and its easy as pie to select where to put audio and crap.

I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't. The old one had it, but the new one doesn't... But check with someone who's bought it first.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Synchronize the ride with music (from an external CD player), so the track desgin matches the audio... Then when it's done record it with no audio and add the audio in later with movie maker.

ok time for a little update. As for time i have none. Im up to my ears in homework and there are two tech weeks coming up for the play 12 th night SHAKESPEAR! (a day when the stagecraft ppl who work on lights or sound go over cues, hang lights, mics, and put in the headsets, i smell lots of gaffer tape) That means from 3:00 half an hour after i get out of school to about midnignt. For two freakin weeks!! :frown: :frown:

Anyway, i hate to say this but it looks like this won't be completed until summer. Im almost positive that i'll get a preview without all the effects but with some. Ok ordered the Disney 50th cd and i heard it doesn't have the launch sequence :mad:! So would anyone mind if i use the launch from the old space mtn?
So if anyone has seen plans of the exact location of the Q line plz Pm it to me or tell me the link. I really think the q line i have so far is very inaccurate.

Ok update time i got a wee bit of time in and i finnaly got the options.txt cheat to work so i can do this!
Just got the 50th cd today its awesome. Im going to make my own launch or use the old cd launch. Either way im going to do old version and new. here are a few pics!

Lasers? what lasers i didn't meantion anything about those...oh are you talking about the lasers in the first page? im not using those. That was on my messed up deformed abnomral recreation of space mtn.I might use them but i don't know. BTW im going to link both songs (space mtn first and new) together using audacity. Its a wonderfull programs. If i make my own launch i take sound fx from www.findsounds.com we use it for stagecraft, to add sound effects to the plays and such.

^^thanks i just got about two hours in and iam almost ready to cover the station. Just letting you know, its going to be plain roof, not the cool angles that the real one has, and it won't have the work lights with blue gels either. And btw this really sucks i played the game and worked on it got a small vid and some pics, then this afternoon i went back on and it said that i must of loaded wild before soaked, which is not true, and it said i needed to reload wild. I have lost the disk for wild so i guess im not working on this until atari tech emails me. Any 1 got any suggestions?

Well on the save screen it has the shark next to the save file, for soaked. i didn't use any wild stuff, but i did use custom scenery that was fixed to work on wild, does anyone know if it'll still work on soaked? Cuz i want to unistall everything then reinstall soaked and wild when i find it!

Ok good news, turns out my dad was de fragmenting the computer, and it froze during the process. Then when he tried to do tax stuffs it was messed up as well. Then he repaired it. He used system mechanic six. Great program for cleaning virus's and blocking pop ups, and such. Tonight i willl read up on the flying camera route because i really don't want to use the peep cam for the queue.

and if ur previous question hasn't already been answered, i think it will still work if you ditched wild for the scenery... the scenery WAS only patched for wild ( i think ) so i think it might still work without it...

Ok i was going to put the video of what if have up last night but this was down for a (it said it'd be down for a few minutes, but time was a wastin and i needed to work some more. The video i have now isn't the best for the camera routes and i later fixed it after reveiweing klinns guide so basicly the turns will be better and the camera will follow the path like its an actual person.

i did something really stupid. I closed in the walls of the queue and didn't adjust the camera route! so the camera goes through the roof at some points, but the exit route is a lot better. So tonight im going to try and finish the indoor part and then roof that sucka. more updates coming soon.

I was just about to put up 16 pictures, but photobucket is really slow right now. and i don't feel like putting up pics on our gallery, but i added purple lasers to the inside of the station, the regular lights that is under the space ship and a space ship with fog, and fire every once and a while up. Its mainly a bunch of tubes a looks really crappy, but thats the best i have come up with. So thoose pics up tommrow, or most likely friday (half day for us) expcet them around one or two

ok thank god i found the disk!!! after two weeks of it having its on and off days this should finnaly be all over. My sister had it because there is a stack of cd's and i went through it about five or six times, and all of a sudden i looked at the top of the stack and my god it was there. My sister said she "didn't do anything" but i bet she did, cuz my dad doens't mess with my stuff, and my mom has no idea what RCT3 means.
Thoose lights, are actually lasers, that i custom made. They last about three minutes, that way they are on from when the car leaves to when the car comes back. I found that to have the closest thing to a spot light, u need to set it on cone of light, not plane of light. Then make the beam width the widest. ANd there ya go.

and after about fifteen minutes of clocking everything i now have one laser sycned. I have the show run at 1:40, and time how long it takes from the time i hit the test button to the time the train reaches the hill. After pulling out my stopwatch i finnaly go the laser to go on cue. This laser isn't really in the ride, but it replaces the white electric pannels that flash on.

eeee! think its gunna be so kool! but the thing im worried about is synchronizing, and the chains on the lift hills go to fast from what i saw in the video, i just thought i would point that out incase you didnt know before.:biggrin:

oh well they wern't too too fast when i last rode it. But i think the ones in my ride could be a little faster. and don't worry about sychronizing. After making five rides with fireworks and lasers syched ex at the bottom of a drop on a water ride, water jets go off. So im used to sychcronizeing stuff. Also im using a differen't track for the launch. So far i have a couple lasers syched to to the ride, but it only works on the first car.

yeah i just tried something today. I have an ipod so i have the space mtn music. I ride through it determinig when to start the music. Then i push play and see how things line up. The only thing is i had the chains going about 8 and 1/2 speed. I turned them down by about a 1/4 m.p.h and it worked better. lets say i spent half my day on the compy with my stop watch in hand, and ear bud in ear blasting either crazy techno music my friend gave me or the sm music. Anyway i found out that the time on the timeline for the shows isn't gradual. i started the stop watch and the indoor lasers/ fire in jets on crappy looking space ship mixmaster and then timed how long the fcr took to get to the point where u could see the jets. I got 1:17 so i put the flame thrower on that time. Set the show too 10:00 am then started on solo mode at that exact same time. Whenever the camera flew by it didn't show that stuff. Then i started the show watched the boosters and the flames went off at almost 2 min!! Now the flame thing lasts about less then a second so its very small, and i took about twenty mintues fiilling up four rows of mixmaster space full of thoose things one right after the other. But it works. I am at the point in space mtn where it is about almost over. There are about three or four helix things (large helix's ) and then the red tunnely thingy. so i made a whole in the ground and put the red tunnle thing in and black walled the connection to that! more pics coming soon

well the only differen't with old and new is the begining but i don't remeber that much. Not much i can do about the ship either way i think it sucks but unlike rct2 there isn't a space satalite, ship scenery thing. I really miss that thing. The red sphere is there but there aren't anyspheres in the game and there is a projection of a star explosion or galaxys at the top of the 2nd lift. I'll just put in a Bilboard at the top with a picture of a galaxy or drawing using paint. Also the music will be changed and i have the full first soundtrack. I don't ever recall heraing it in the real ride becuase the cars music didn't really work. So if anyone can give me a link of the old space mtn or descirbe the beging that'd be great. I also may use bilboards for the stars or have lasers project the stars but that looks really bad and might take a lot of lasers. I just uploaded pictures so i'll have some more up.

Well actually i already have the music. And yes dark ride person has made a few darkride sets, yet they haven't fixed it for wild, also they didn't redo the supports, i don't know why atari and frontier made such bad supports:icon_evil !!!!
Anyway i think i'll attempt at making the supports, and i belive that is a star pyro that came with the latest rct pyro set (the catch is u have to sort through and delete the soaked ones and thats where 80% of the disney stuff is:( )
Also they didn't do a recreation, the station was ?? different i would say:icon_roll and there wasn't a queue. Still a good ride but also thoose stars could have been added in as a video effect like what cyberleader a person who is making a disneyland british style and has star tours, and space mtn, monorail, and the paris space mtn and i belevie she used a star effect in some parts. I won't cuz that dosen't give the right effect. Also i may use a bunch of bilboards with stars on it, and i used paint and made four differen't ones. But it might not show up. Also the space mtn sign is complete and here is a picture of the paint jpg

yeah DRP's (Dark Ride Person) light set is really cool I used it in a space mountain recreation for the energy transfer speed tunnel and it looks so cool the only problem is it only turns on @ night.

EDIT: IM DONE!!! This time no joke like i said im done...with a preview. Actuall there is a few bits a pices of roof missing, i made used custom structure to make roofs, problem is since the station is under most of the ride, thats where ground level is, so its very difficult. I attempeted to do that, and failed so i zoomed out and just raised the roof up to what i thought was correct. 80% of it was correct when i looked at it from a different angle. So there are still spots full of light. However i won't be able to do much work bc i'll be busy with other things, and sunday...looks pretty busy as well, so it may be another week. Sorry but hey i think its pretty good myself. Best thing i've ever made. I actually got a comment from another person and they thought i was joking when i said this was my first recreation.

well i have the soundtrack recorded. The launch isn't bad but after that ther coaster goes faster, so u can hear the windyness of it. I have the soundtrack from the 50th cd which starts after the launch sequence. Today im going to clean things up, and possible start the final queue recording. The queue has a few kinks to clean up but other than that its good. I blackwalled part at the very end, before u enter the staion i know i showed some pics but it was really messed up.

Now u all know how to make a custom structure, thing is when i was saving the roof section there was some black roofs in the gorund. So in the station there are some black roof pieces

Well actually i was
i have been recording nonstop since 7:00 it took forever, and there were only about five minturs between queue and ride, then exit. So recording is complerte but this is the hard part (well actually the hard part was constrution) adding the music and editing the video. I have a stupid terra nova test so i get out of school two hours eraly, but that means testing all day!!!:mad:
Anyway that day is tuesday, so i will probably get it out then but im making no promises untill next weekend and i might break that promise (unfortunatly) also there were many glitches in the video, so i will make sure the old version is better.

EDIT: The sychronizing was easier than expected!! The music almost fell right into its correct placing in other words i got extremely lucky. The video will be realesed tonight in a compressed file, its about five mintues long and i don't have that much time. As it is just to save it on my computer its taking 20 min!!! and thats so i can save it to dvd, then put it in a dvd player attached to the computer, then im making special dvd's with a photo tour, all the trailers, and some behind the scenes stuff. My dad purchased pinnacle studio 9, which has a movie box, and the only way to get it on there is to import it through a dvd player i can't import through files :( but it has a very cool meneu maker so i can make it cool. Again the video will be up later tonight even though as i speak it is 6:00.

Well yes its the final version for SM 2005, i know there were a lot of glitches, and some of my errors, but i didn't notice many of thoose errors when i rode it the day before i recorded. Such as the white wall poking thro and all the black roofs in the track. Also i think the audio wasn't blended because it was either that or no music at all. Any way im making a SM 77 which is the old one, i won't have the spehere unless i find one but i don't think there is one. The only changes would be the lasers inside the ride, the sign, and the begining of the ride. When i watched the movie i wrote down all the mistakes, and im going to change it when i do SM 77. Im going to use the same file, bc the two are very simmilar, the track layout is also exactly the same. You can excpect a video for that this summer, for now im going to focus on school bc i know i can get better then a 3.5 G.P.A.

^^YES that does mean im not realeasing for download. The reason, im afraid someone would attempt at making SM 77 using my coaster before i do. I also want to do something som people know its my work. I didn't think it sucked. It was actually done very well, with the awesome effects. Great job with the queue and the station, but the ride was a bit lacking, such as the breaks in the music at the beginning. It also wasn't in sync very well, and the track was kinda inaccurate. Overall, it wasn't that bad, but you forgot a very important thing. Each turn on Space Mountain is banked. I did a recreation of it myself (intro not finished yet), and I would post the movie, but I don't know how to use that mega upload thing.

^^Actually not all turns are banked. The only turns that are banked is if the train is going above 20 mph. Also the music went off at the right time i think, the countdown went to 0 at the right time, the countdown of power transfer was on so could you please tell me what wasn't synched, i want to fix it.

Well, the train rarely goes under 20 mph anyway, but I've been on the coaster enough times to see that all the turns are banked. I even have a video of Space Mountain with the lights on. Although sometimes the curves are banked to only about 15 degrees. (when the ride is going slower than 20 mph) I also have a model of the ride which is on the front of my binder for school, so I'm staring at it practically all day, (what else is to pay attention to at school?)

About the sync problems, you might want to redo the beginning so you don't have to skip parts of the intro music. Then, when the ride goes down the only thing that can be considered a "drop," the music changes from A flat to C sharp. (You would probably be able to notice when that happens) Yours drops about 5 or so seconds after the music hits that point. Other then that, i strongly suggest fixing up the end, when it makes the final left turn and enters the re-entry tunnel. Your end of it is ok, but it needs to slow down at the end. Also, use the recoring of the soundtrack for the whole ride, (I have it as well) because the music is cut short on the actual ride, than from the soundtrack on the 50th anniversary CD.

You don't have to do any of this. I"m just suggesting. But if you do, good luck!

P.S. Could you tell me how to use that Mega Upload thing? I could show you the one I made, though I haven't completed the intro yet. (Starts at the top up the 2nd lift)

yea i know the audio was really messed up, but it's because my ride was a little too fast, and if i did that then well it be even more messed up. I don't think im going to redo SM 2005, but i will fix it up, to do SM '77, either way i will add brakes at the end to slow it down, fix some of the glitches with the walls, and re do the inside station lasers (bc the lasers in 77 wern't purple) anyway i just did something stupid...
I started a new Re creation Why you ask? well im kinda want to like blow up SM right now bc i went through heck to make it. So i start another re creation. I worked on expierimenting some "terrian" and made the station bulding and it is complete. Go check it out

By the way, for track accuracy, there isn't a double helix up in Space Mountain. Also, from when it takes off at the top of the third lift, it goes in this order.

135 degree left, 225 degree left, 180 degree right, 225 degree right, 225 degree left, 90 degree right, 90 degree right, 90 degree right, 45 degree right, 225 degree right, 180 degree right, (then the 15 foot drop), 180 degree right, 180 degree right, 180 degree right, 180 degree right, 200 degree right, 200 degree left, (Through the re-entry tunnel), brakes to 7.8 mph, 180 degree right, pull into station

Some turns are slanted upward or down.

dude give it a rest. according to my blueprint it does so im sorry i probably won't fix it. At the very end it is fast it shoots through there. My average speed is 27 mph and the top speed on the real one is thirty. so u think its faster bc there are air vents blasting cool air at u thats what a cm told me. So i may fix a few but it won't be for a while, and it will be sm 77. Right now first prioity is BTMRR. So don't expect anything untill summer. And i have all thoose things written down frank so i'll remeber them and thanks for pointing thoose out or i wouldn't have noticed them. Well i would but it'd be after the movie is released!

Ok well time really does fly. And now im getting ready to start up the ol space mountain. It has been collecting dust for the last three months. But i got out the swiffer and i downloaded some new stuff and its good to go! Yes chris told me to continue in the same thread and soon i will start uploading pictures. I have downloaded DRP's tubes which are just like the tunnels i used only with diferent texturing they have a hyperspace, a star tunnel, and lots other stuff. And soon Jcat is coming out with Space Worx! And that has everything i need to make SM 77. Which is funny its older but yet its probably going to be alot better then 2005. Im making them backwards just like George lucas how he made return of the jedi before empire strikes back and a new hope and the very first three movies. Anyways i also just got a you tube account and its better then putfile because videos can be up to 100 mb or 10 minutes. And i know that there are some new people who wanted to see it and the link here is dead now so.

No PYRO i hate using pyro. Not that ur stars suck i already have ur starz. But im using star walls made by jcat coming in his SPace worx set. Also the star tunnel by DRP the reason i don't like pyro is bc i have to going constantly so it doesn't turn off but no matter how far away it is from the station its still goes in there. ^^The finished product. I may do a little bit more scenery inside but i don't think i will. I need to finish up the very beging the laser effect on the lift will take lots of time and lots of skill. I think i got some good lessons in laser aiming. Also the second lift needs a new tunnel. If someone has suggestions or rembers what the second lift was ( i forgot already bad me) LET ME KNOW that'd be very helpful. Then again lots of you are skipping over most of this post and looking at the pics and just looking for a link to the video right? For those reading thank you so i won't have to answer why i don't have pics from the beging or the beging looks difrent. Anyways the music matched up after i turned down the lift hill speed. Now i have never been on SM 77 with the music. I have been on it at least 30 times in my life (the old version) and every time no music. But im pretty sure that when the guitar goes crazy and then the dude says ingntion or wathever im pretty sure thats right after the final lift. If its not then someone tell me. Anyways to the video!!

Ok well it was shot at night and the light color is too black. If the lights on the side of the car are yellow the sound system is on and the car is operational. If there red the car has sound off, and is not in use. Like the cars on the side. Now there is something kinda like that. Behind each car is a tiny flashing red light. If its not flashing the audio doens't work. If it is it does work. This helps CM's with this. Ok FRANK!

I did fix the layout a little bit, but im getting from lots that it was accurate. Unless u downloaded this set you don't know if it is or not. Some places u can tell and i didn't put the park up for download. So don't tell me its not accurate i have pics of the model actual 3D blue prints at all diffrent angles and a layout from scottware. So its pretty accurate. Some areas are not accurate otherwise it would not make it to the station. I took out those helix's i made the drop after the last lift a bit steeper and a little bit longer. And most ppl don't keep up with the speed of 30 32 mph but i did last time and i think im going to go up to 37 or 40. But my secret is to put the block brakes right after drops so you don't go from 20-40 all of a sudden. I made about every turn that needed a banking banked. So again i found some audio on my comp that i have had that has the thing in the beging like this...

Anyways i have a few pictures for and update. I worked on this a little this morning. I got the "Blue Room" in. Got all the lift hills covred litraly. I used white walls on the first lift. I know there is the arrows going to the top but i tried three lasers in four diffrent spots and each time it looked terrible. So i just put some red lights and it came out to this

Im pretty sure it was a dark gray. Not black but i will try that out see how the desinger made the color. So i will look later. Much later school started yesterday ITS CRAZY. Im so mad my bus has always been crowded 10 on the bus graduated and 40 more got into the route. They thought the fresmen and the grads balanced out and threw two more routes in there. Its 105 outside we do have AC on all 142 busses in our district (which 40 are at our school) so today there were three people per seat. BIG high school stundents. That means 72 ppl on the bus. It was insane the bus driver was mad that the transit ppl did that. So if i live till saturday i will get this done. Thank goodness im not afraid of cramped spaces.

I HAVE A VIDEO!!! But first the commentary (te he)
Ok well i looked into changeing the color and i thought that this would happen. It is already black. But since it lights up at night it does that. Im not going to record just that area during the day bc then the track lights up like a flame. Well not really but you get the point.

I worked on the first lift i have six laser domes outside the walls pointing into the lift think. They are all lined up and flash for like half a second then it flash's at the second then the third then the bottom second and so on. I also added some lasers by the "control tower" as its called in the audio. It goes red green red green. Those also go for about half a second. The laser has to last for 1 second but if you turn the red green blue, and the Hue (the silverish looking one) it disapears. I discovred that a while ago and only now found it usefull. Also in the first lift video its very red, and in the real ride its not. It just has the arrows going to the top. And i have beams now but you can't see them very much so now i have deleted most of the lights and left some bc i wanted to. In between the blue room and the first lift where i have the walling like seen above, i have flash's of lights. It looks kinda like a thunder storm now from outside of the car it looks cool but i need to make it so they go off a little bit before that. You wont see them too much from on ride video but i have a FCR that stays still right there and records it. So you will get what i was trying to do. Each lasts like a second and goes from white to nothing about 8 times so its kinda like a strobe light but kinda random like lighting. I plan to add more flashy light things in that room and add some to the lift. In the audio there are some things that sound like astroids or launching things or flahsy light things. SO im thinking about putting those in the blue room and for sure on the second lift. Enough of the words on to the VIDEO. Wait i lie. Pictures comparing lights on and off. Or night and day for that tunnel.

Thanx man. So i watched a video of SM 2005. I have been on it about three or four times last OCT but idk, is SM 77 like SM 2005? Like imeditly after the first lift it goes to blue room. But i have been on SM 77 more times and think i have it right. But idk if they changed the track that much. Space Mountain, im guessing you know if thats correct or not.

K dude this is RCT3 NOT No limits k?! If i had the power to make the lift like that i would. But i don't and neither does anywone else. I think getting No limits would have its ups and down. Kinda like a roller coaster LOL. I know the video makes it look not very much like the orignal bc of the red lights but if you read the posts you would know that i changed it. And i said that i changed it. I have laser beams that follow all the way to the top so it kinda is like the arows but i can't make the arrows bc the laser has to draw it it doesn't just appear. SO whatever. If you want to see the crappy version of SM 2005 that was my first ride you can go to the first page.

Yea basicly there aren't many changes besides the cars, the station, and the queue. The star machines are new and the track is smoother. And instead of an big red sphere is a big red sphere. So yea not to many diffrences but some. Big enough to redo the piece of crap i made before and replace it with this.

NoLimits costs $29.95 and is probably the best coaster simulation that has been created. You can literally make the coaster do anything. The design process is much different from RCT3 though. You put it together in a blueprint-like editor with several different views, and later you can ride it using the simulator. Easy to learn, hard to master.

Ok all well the reason i didn't post over the weekend was bc i was probably going to have an update. But my lab report for chemistry took longer then i expected. The reason i didn't post was bc of the stupid auto merge thing. So i can't post again for two days and then nobody looks at it and thats what happend to my SM 2005. The video was out for two days b4 i could post again. Anyways i have to help move my sister up to NAU bc she has lots of heavy stuff and my parents don't want to do it. I get back on sunday but im probably going to sunsplash on sunday so i may or may not work on it until labor day weekend :( Sorry but school is #1 priority i wish it wasn't tho lol!! i lied actually Family is # 1 i think lol

^^Cough cough couga;o/jdgklaj sorry its a bit dusty around here, need to get out the swiffer....-swiff swiff(no pun inteded-...Ah all better so i know school happend and thats why this poor project has been collecting dust and nothing more... BUT have no fear i smell and update! I heard that if you turn off the shadows in rct3 the domes in jcats space work will indeed work. Only you have to set the resolution to custom. In that i also figured out how to hide the track. So all the fixing i did to the track to improve the layout didn't do much, but now i can't be criticised for the layout cuz u can't see it!!!!!!

the dome with the sign lit up. I know its not red but its cool and it brings out the lettering and again this is a recreation not an exact replica
Also i put lights underneath the path to light it up and it sorta has an effect on the dome. Unfortantly if i put a light above the dome or below it, the light has no effect whatsoever.

When i made the track invisible it looked bad on the first lift and at the station. I didn't know it would do the station too but it did and it looked bad

I have all sorts of music. The opening launch pad chatter from the techs and the first few lifts music then the soundtrack off of the 50th cd. I rode it with the music and it is pretty well. I haven't ever been on sm 77 with audio i went on it oh 1998-2000 and the audio never worked, so i don't know how the audio goes. Im hoping of having the Space Mountain TV up. I have a few videos not from it but something you would picture being on there. Trouble is its in itunes format and i bought it so i can't burn it and have it in the windows movie maker. So im looking around for other stuff like on google video. Anyway im not going to get the detail in on the queue as much. In sm 2005 they added a wall to the queue area where there was a window to see into the ride a little bit, and there were two ramps next to each other. In sm 77 thats the way it was, and i can't just delete the wall the way i made it there'd be a big gap in between them both. Thanks for the comments everyone!

^^Hmm thats a good point. I think it was added later becuase i rember it, but i know that from since opening it DID have a transfer table. I know there was handicap in '99 and i don't think it'd be easy to just throw in a transfer table. They might have but guess what? Im going to put one in anyway. Like i said there are some effects in the ride that weren't in '77 that I put in ride. The station is going to get an actual platform (YAY) and so on. Anyway hoping for an update this weekend but who knows.

Ok i did a wee bit oh work but i have no pix. Made the little hexogonal thingy in the wall where the coaster enters and exits. I put it on the side on the END where the car comes into the station. So both ends are done. I have fall break next week and it is a week long, so this saturday im going to denver, and its a snowin there im so happy. Ive only seen snow about five times, so this will be nice. The other times where in flagstaff, so idk if 2 inches counts. Ny way this is on hold until the weekend of the 28th when i should get an update in.

Anyways i haven't put up pix for a while and im still not! I grabbed a video today with the track GONE! This is how it will be for the entire ride, (cept for the everything and including everything between the first two lifts. And everything betweeen the red tunnel thats the end, and the station) So were its light and where you can see the track you will see the track. I am almost ready to release! But if you read my sig u know im going to magic music days, and that means a few rides on SM! Im going to pay attention to detail a few times (rather then enjoying the ride) For effects. I know this is SM 77, but most of the FX were tweaked, or they were completly new. Im not going to bother anymore on the track design, and you can't yell at me for that bc the track will be invisible! HA! Anyway your wondering about that video eh? ^^They are at WDW, and DLR don't know it its international. We play one time im mad, but we had the chance to play on tomorrowland stage but the teacher picked the carnation stage. Also she picked to give us 3/4 day at DL and a whole day at DCA :(
They do it many times during the year. We are invited every three years, but the teacher says that they can't afford to go that often, and its not like she is paying, we still pay a large chunk. SO we get a clinc ( a disney pro musican/director conducts us and points out what we need to fix) then we play on stage.

Great preview, but it didn't seem like you changed the track from your last video. The awesome effects/scenery make up for the inaccuracy though, and it greatly surpasses my ancient one.

As for instuments, I play the piano, trumpet, and to a lesser extent, clarinet. I'm also planning on learning percussion. Last year, my middle-school band (I'm in highschool now) went to that "Music In The Parks" thingy. It was enjoyable, but we sucked big-time.

YAY!!!)

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am proud to present, Space Mountain 1977 in all its glory. This has been my longest recreation yet. I did re-use Space Mtn 2005, but after that not-so-good re-creation, i had many things to re-do, new lighting, a new layout, new lasers and effects, and of course the revolutionary items. I know they somewhat make space mtn something else, but this is a re-creation, not an exact recreation. The sound was pretty difficult it took me about two hours to throw six different clips together, and to get it synchronized, its still off by three or four seconds its some areas, but its way better then the old Space Mountain 2005.

I don't have that music, and i went in october and never heard of it. I have the line, but i don't know what kind of music. Im going to work on editing recroding is finished!!
EDIT: The sychronizing was easier than expected!! The music almost fell right into its correct placing in other words i got extremely lucky. The video will be realesed tonight in a compressed file, its about five mintues long and i don't have that much time. As it is just to save it on my computer its taking 20 min!!! and thats so i can save it to dvd, then put it in a dvd player attached to the computer, then im making special dvd's with a photo tour, all the trailers, and some behind the scenes stuff. My dad purchased pinnacle studio 9, which has a movie box, and the only way to get it on there is to import it through a dvd player i can't import through files :( but it has a very cool meneu maker so i can make it cool. Again the video will be up later tonight even though as i speak it is 6:00.
