In 2004 they made a float on Tower of Terror. And I can remember 2005.

^Last year, they styled the float after Sleeping Beauty castle for the 50th.

here are the plans for the float: (highlight it to read)

Float Theme: The Most Magical Celebration on Earth

Celebrating 50 years of Disney theme park magic, Disney Parks around the world continue the fun and excitement of their global "Happiest Celebration on Earth" throughout 2006. The Disney float entry is highlighted by a floral depiction of five beloved Disney castles as seen in California, Florida, Japan, France and Hong Kong. Soaring nearly 50 feet high and 150 feet long (the longest Rose Parade entry this year), the float features the U.S. premiere of the newest Disney song "One," written exclusively for the recent grand opening of Hong Kong Disneyland.
The float is composed of more than 50 distinct varieties of roses with plant materials from each of the Disney theme park host countries and states. Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland in southern California stands prominently in the float design as the original Disney symbol of magic and happily-ever-afters.
there you go people, if you want more info on the parade and a sneek peak on other floats there go to :

Man I hope this doesn't turn into another Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. Now, I like that parade, but I've always enjoyed the Rose Parade for being somewhat of a normal parade. No "show stops" or anything, just the floats riding past the audience.

Why they have all the Disney castles? I don't know. At least it looks like Disneyland's is the dominant one though.

The Disneyland Sleeping Beauty Castle Draw Bridge on the Float is going to be lowered and lifted according to Disney Insider. I think the only time the draw bridge at DL was lowered was Opening Day in 1955? I wonder if it ever will be lifted and lowered again in DL for any reason.

This is totally awesome! In 2004, they made a Tower of Terror float. In 2005, they made a castle float and Mickey Mouse was the grand marshall. And now, in 2006 they're going to make five castle floats. I say that this is the best three year rose parade ever. Especially, when they Disney with it. They should be there every year. Don't you think?

:icon_roll they also lowered it when they reopened the castle and fantasyland mid 80's.
