Shoutbox questions

Where in the forum will Shoutbox posts appear?
Is it for questions or comments to Admins?
What will happen when I use the Shoutbox?

Any registered user can use the Shoutbox to just say "Hi", make a quick comment or ask a quick question. The shoutbox refreshes automatically so its *almost* an IM conversation.

On the Forum page you have access to more of the editing features, like Bold, changing the font, color, etc, and VBCode can also be used (URL tags, etc).

Of course, any abuses are treated the same way they would be on the forums, so flooding the forums, or using inapprorpiate language is not permitted.

In general, its just another feature we'd thought we'd include for everyone to use.

Here is how it is done.....

Click on the Word Shout Box....

It should take you to the archive of all the shouts and you can look through them...

i think i found a bug, if someone is viewing the main page of the forums it says the are viewing the shout box, you should fix it and make it say forums

Yes, that's a bug in the Shoutbox itself and there is no work-around for that at this time.
