Default New fireworks

Now that Disney has installed firework launchers that use little powder for Remember can't they use them at DCA to create a new show for Paradise Bay...I know that a major problem with LuminAria was the smoke casue by the fireworks.

well yes, they could... but another problem with luminaria is it required ALL of paradise pier to close early. You remember all the fuss we had when just screaming was down.

i think they probably will bring back a pyro show sooner or later.... but they're probably still looking at ways to keep everything operating, or at least crowds happy.

What about something similar to EPCOT's IllumiNations? That way they don't have to close an entire section of the park. Just a thought!

Lightbulb !!!

Excuse me, but have you forgotten about the dangers of that idea?

Picture this: a fireworks show on the lake on a dark breezy night at Paradise Peir. But what's that!? A firework has blown onto California Screamin' and is starting a fire! This is the third one this week! Looks like Screamin' will be down longer than expected, and we all know what that means...angry letters! Oh no! The fire is spreading across the wooden bridge and completely engulfing all of Paradise Peir! Maybe this is just a wild guess, but do you think the Fireworks were a bad idea? Yes! Well...half yes...

The Fireworks could only work if they were positioned more carefully!

Nice positive spin on things there!!

I still think water and lasers are the way to go. Leave fireworks for Dl. Plus, DCA is an extremely different park so why not go for something different for their show too?! Maybe one day...

Wow!!! You just reminded me of something. Did anyone ever see Fantasy Waters at the Disneyland Hotel. They took it out, but they could make a new one that is themed with California type music, or even Disney music and put it in the Paradise Bay.

Was it really. I was there during the summer and they had a fountain in the pool but it never really did anything. I hope they brought it back. That would be tight.

they put it back when they opened DCA i havne't seen it since 1995 when the good rides were there and the monorail cafe still existed a note with the fireworks there is a company that makes indoor fireworks for a rodeo show in texas at one of the domes there. there is littl smoke and they aren't very loud. They have to be quiet so the horses aren't scared while people ride them. One thing with iluminations. They don't have any outdoor rides but even if they did it wouldn't have to close. the lake is HUGE to walk around world showcase is like two or three miles.

No....No they cannot. The reason I say this is, where would they store the boats and rafts and stuff? I never even knew that there were fireworks at DCA. I think it would be cool if they did have fireworks.

But here's a question could they do a show like Fantasmic, they don't have to use rafts just something close to it. Or could they not becasue the lake is surronded on all sides by walkways?
