There is a 1:1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, 000,000,000,000,000,000,000 chance that it might be returning. Based on the ratio, I highly doubt it.

Don't hold your breath !. It would be cool if CBJ returned but being that this a rumor........ I will believe it when I see it :p Untill then.............
SM
probaly not going to happen.
One of the AAs was used to make oggie boogie in HMH.
It would be cool though to have a new CBJ next to Grizzly River Run though

Which AA was used to make him?It would be possible to keep boogie and return the show ,because there was two sets of AAs due to the fact of two theaters.

I've heard that is not true. The rumor stated that Trixie was used to make Oogie Boggie. I've heard that all the AA's are in storage. Hopefully, they will keep them long enough so they can come back. The only thing they would need to build is a theater. Since all the AA's are still available I think it's possible they might come back someday.

If they return,i hope they do all three shows(like in disneyland tokyo).

I never thought about the two sets. yeah considering that, it would be very possible to bring back the country bears. Big al was the AA I heard they used as oggie Boogie, but if they still have the other set, then theres no reason why they cant put the show in DCA. But will disney do that? lets seriously hope so.

Even if they don't return, i hope they will put them into another attraction(does splash mountain have space?).

(sorry I typed so big) It is VERY possible for The Country Bears to return!
Instead of having that Brother Bear play area (they already have the A Bug's Life play area), they could take it down and build The Country Bear Jamboree in it's place!!! It's a perfect solution! It would also fit in perfectly with the Golden State area!

CBJ may never return. But I wish they will bring them back and if not with the original show music, then something new. The only problem with that would be new voices for the bears, so everyone that remembers it would probably not like it. I guess the story might be a problem too. We all saw how "well" the movie did in the box office, so a new storyline might not be good.

If The Country Bears movie had done somewhat decently, it might have come back. But, the poor Country Bears became the ride everyone loved to laugh at in its last years. Even "A Goofy Movie" made fun of it.

I love the possums in The Goofy Movie. CBJ is one of those attractions that DL should've moved to DCA. But of course the animatronic costs and such became too immense. I'm guessing that's why DL closed it. The only reason that CBJ is still in WDW is because it still draws a crowd in. The day it doesn't, I see it going away.

Isn't the golden state based off bears and camping and stuff?I mean that section of the park. It's a very good thing that we have audio and video,it's hard to remember.

12-01-2005, 02:33 PM
ya the summer show would be perfect in there cuz it's all about the great outdoors (foresty outdoors) and that's exactly what Golden State is...a celebration of California's great outdoors!
but i'd rather see it in Disneyland, even if they put it in Frontierland behind Big Thunder Ranch.

what they NEED to do (and YES i know it WON'T happen) is kick Pooh OUT & put the BEARS back IN.

Look, if they stick the Country Bears in a high traffic area like it is in WDW, on the one pathway to Splash Mountain and BTMRR, then it will draw in crowds who want to pass time and see if the line drops or out of curiousity ofter the ride watch it. I remember in a documentary on the CBJ, they said the line dwindled when it was the only big attraction in Bear Country. (Remember that place?) Then when Splash Mountain came in, the attendance surged, and stayed that way, until the yellow bear we all know and love started selling his stuffed animals in the CBJ shop. Then he and his pals set up shop right outside the theater and drew the crowds out of the CBJ and into their queue so people could meet them. The line grew longer, the CBJ grew shorter, until they closed one of the CBJ's theaters and only used one from then on, then the attendance dropped almost completely, and everyone wanted to meet Pooh, then he moved in. Maybe if they stick it in the area near GRR and Soarin', people going to those rides will stop in. Just keep the characters away, okay?
linklewtt
12-28-2005, 06:51 PM
but CBJ isn't on the one path to Splash at all. There's a more direct path through adventureland to bot SM and BTMR. it's actually closer to HM, but really actually far from that too. But yes, it is along the main path near the river so i think that's why it gets more people becuase it is along the way.

i would kinda miss the redwood creek because its such a cute little area (trying watching the sunset there) and i go up to the top of the lookout area and just look through the telescopes and take great pictures of DCA (i love taking pics of disneyland) all with the nice little music playing
it would be nice to have the CBJ return because it would really fit in witht the theming and mood of the Golden State and because it was a good show

Yeh i heard that too from the cast member girl at the Grand Californian information.
I asked her about stuff being closed in Californian Adventure and she said nothing really was except that
while the Redwood Creek challenge trail thing was closed they had surveyors there to see where to plot a building.
I thought she meant a groovy restaurant as part of the Hotel but she said that it was part of Redwook Creek expansion. Or would be eventually...
Apparently, they were gonna build a show building out behind the climbing tower things with the telescopes and the entrance would be through Redwood Creek trail itself.
It'd sorta come over onto the grass section at the back of the Grand Californian but they were gonna landscape gardens to hide the show building n stuff.
But anyway I laughingly said to her "What would they put in there? A Brother Bear Ride?! "
And she laughed and said "or a new bear jamboree"
and I said "Ooooh"
and she tapped her nose.
So there you go.
Even though my memories of Country Bear Jamboree were of the Christmas Version in Florida,
I'm assuming they'll make it some hip new trendy version with a couple of the old songs kept
for randomness.
Spread the good word.

Don't get Tower_Gal 13's hopes up, or mine for that matter!
Please remember, CMs are as clueless as we are. They like to act in the know but often fall victim to rumors and wishful thinking.
Case in point, a TL CM aws telling guests about the the LEM launch and loop that was being installed in Space Mtn during it's rehab. I told him he was wrong and he went on to tell about his 'inside' information.

I forgot what the acronym stands for. But, a LEM launch is a propelled launch. Some launches use air, magnetic, or wheel force.
