I'm trying to plan a trip for sometime pretty soon, and I'm wondering when the Christmas decorations go up at Disneyland. I've never seen it decorated, but I'd like to avoid the really crowded part of the holiday season.
Thanks in advance.

Usually it's November 1st. Right after Halloween they over night, turn Disneyland into a winter wonderland!

Yup, we went in early November in 2000. Crowds were slim and all the Christmas goodies were in full-swing: tree up, IASW decorated, lights up, carollers out, Christmas loops playing, snow at the end of the night. Man, you're in for a real treat! Nothing better and more romantic than Disneyland at Christmas!

Just to repeat...Christmas decorations start Nov. 1st. They usually have everything up by December. Usually the 1st and 2nd week of December isn't too crowded, especially on the weekdays. Weekends are crowded because of the locals. I go every year around that time and I love it.
