Its 5 years old.. Of coarse it wont smell.. Like cars does a car have the new smell that smells so good after five years??

Thats weird, I never smelled the ornage scent when i went in August 2001.

They usually replace the scent balls that generate the scent, but I imagine they've been fixing up other parts of the park and can't get to it.

I also notice that some of its neon trim isnt working at night. :-( Makes me sad as it cheapens the attraction.

I have rode the Stinger in the past and got a whiff of oranges. Then again, it could have been my imagination and I was actually smelling something else...

I'm with you. It's supposed to smell like oranges on the Orange Stinger??? I guess it would make sense with a name like Orange Stinger, and the fact that the ride takes place inside a giant orange!!! I personally have never been on it since I hate those swing rides. You learn something new every day!!!

they had an orange scent wich i think was the same on soarin, and why would there be bees in an orange?

The real orange scent was attracting real bees, thus it was shut off.

Yeah, the bees never made sense to me either. I have never smelled an orange smell on that ride. Now on Soarin' and on Heimlich's Chew Chew Train you can smell all kinds of stuff.

LOL I'm glad I was not there with my kids for the bees. They seem to think the bees are waiting for someone to sting. The Name was more fitting at the time OUCH!
