Banned?

I am not sure how banning members works, but how can a member get banned because I saw a member instead of saying senior member, it said banned? Does it depend on some of the forums that the person posts?

Someone gets banned for breaking the site's guidelines; such as saying something vulger and/or insulting at someone, refusing to cooperate with a moderator, or breaking one of the various other rules set up.

If a moderator feels the action is necessary or deserved they do it, but unless they go and remove the person's posts, those will remain and the person's title will read as Banned.

We don't typically Erase/Delete members if they get kicked off VF, they just have "banned" displayed and are unable to visit the site (usually the persons' IP address gets banned too).

As people who have visited this site for awhile, we have only banned a small group of people from the site and that's usually after multiple warnings and violations of site guidelines, disobeying Mods, etc. It's a very rare occurrence, actually.
