hey well so far ive only gone 3 times this year! all bad trips...well we went in february after like this huge rain storm and it was pretty empty and by like 5 all the rides were open so that was a nice trip...but i plan on going November 23 for my bday thats actually november 11th. ive gone on november 11th and it was horrible! it was extremely packed the lines were huge! since many of u go there often and know when a good time is to go, what do u think itll be like november 23? like around that time is it usually crowded?

November 23rd is Thanksgiving week and the day before Thanksgiving you better be prepared for some heavy crowds.

I'm confused, in some other November planning trips some people say it will be crowded and some say not crowded...

Yea, typically, any day where many schools will get the day off will mean a crowded day at Disneyland.
Your best bet for shorter crowds, would be to go when theres absolutely no holiday near, or any reason for anyone to be out of school...
Also typically Tuesdays and Wednesdays (i believe) are the least crowded days. Monday's not bad either.
Im sorry that youve had bad experiences, be it from nature, or crowding, or whatever...
My advice, if you come and find huge crowds, remember to fastpass the ride you want to ride the most, and then just attack each line head on. Theres a popular rumor that CMs post longer wait times than there actually are, cause that'll turn some people away from the line, keeping it shorter. I find that even in the longest wait times, conversations usually are lively and help kill the time.
Also remember that the following rides have very detailed queues (lines), and sometimes its worth going just to admire all the detail put in them.
Indiana Jones
Jungle Cruise
Cartoon Spin
Big Thunder (somewhat)
Star Tours
Space Mountain
Buzz Lightyear (once you get inside)
Haunted Mansion Holiday
If you find the crowds are just overwhelming... take a break and get some food. If all the food service places are crowded... take some time in Downtown Disney, or parkhop to DCA. There's always a few quiet spots on the resort, where you can catch your breath.
Have a great trip!

Going to DL for Halloween. Has anyone ever been there on All Hallows Eve? It's a Monday and NOT a school holiday, but I am expecting crowds nonetheless.

^ Space Mountain, Buzz & HMH all can be FastPass'd without missing anything in the queue. HMH has some stuff in the back but the FP queue also goes back there with the stand-by queue anyway during busy times so you'll see everything back there w/o having to wait very long.
