This has been going on for a couple days now. I will post something, it will show that it ost, then ill check on the thread later and my posting is not there! I dunno whats going on but it has happened quite a bit lately. Then everytime im done on the site, I log out. But when I enter the site again, its like it didnt log me out or something, it shows that im still logged in. I dont understand what it going on, but I make sure that screen comes up that says "all cookies cleared" or something like can. Can someone help me with these problems please??? The posting issue has been happening for like 3 days now, not to all my posting just to some.

We just upgraded ALL the software this morning. If it happens again, let me know. Is it possible you lost connection when you posted so the post never showed up? Is it happening in a particular forum?

No I didnt lose connection at all, and it mostly happened when I was responding to threads posted in the Disneyland Park section of VF. It also would happen when I when post things in the New Posts sections, but in various threads. It hasnt happened within the last couple days, but I have no idea what happened to them! But thanks for the update, I think that might have solved the problem! Keep up the great work guys!

Wendy (Wendy Darling), has there been any kind of error message with your messages? Are you using the Quick Reply box below, or actually hitting the "reply" button?

I was hitting the reply button, and no, there was no error message...I wonder where all those posts went after they went up... They were there, then they were gone when I next looked at that thread

We've been having a lot of problems with people logging in, composing a message, and then the board mysteriously logging them out when they try to post. We've changed some settings (again), and hopefully that will help.
Unless your post breaks guidelines posts don't get deleted and we have a log that keeps tabs on our entire staff, so abuses from the staff just aren't an option (including for myself).

Yes, and before I got 500 posts, I lost about 30, but I don't think it has anything to do with my posting spree... 30 in an hour.

I'll keep trying to figure out the issue on this end. Very odd. The high amounts of traffic the site gets now doesn't help matters (Anyone notice we had 230+ people on last night?!!?).

Hmm. I just ran into the elusive "my post disappeared" thing. I posted in the Angels win ALDS thread, came back now and looked at the thread and the posting is gone.

Very odd, indeed. Were you waiting a long time after you hit SUBMIT and did it take you directly to the post?

I'm having a hard time remembering the exact details of that post. But I believe I posted, it went to that "thanks for posting" page, and i closed that tab before bothering to let it refresh to the posting. But that shouldn't have effected it. And the post was long enough so I wasn't really looking at the "your post is too short" page or anything.

The only reason it goes to that secondary page is because its usually in the process of updating the database and/or cookies, but the that shouldn't affect the post appearing unless your post was going to timeout somehow and never got there... Not sure, but since it's happened to others I'll have to look into it further...
You mentioned tabs.. Are you using Firefox?
