i was wondering does anybody think this is going to be a very crowded time? im going with my high school marching band and we are only going for one day. i wanna try to do as much as i can and i really wanted to see the fireworks too. how long would i have to wait for a good-enough spot for the fireworks. when do u think the best time to go on space mountain, indy, splash mountain, and matterhorn on this day? im hoping it wont be very crowded that day so i will have time to go on all of the rides i want to. do u guys think its going to be crowded on this day? i think its the weekend before thanksgiving.

Umm I dunno if its going to be crowded... but from my experiences, it wasnt anything out of the ordinary. Not to crowded, but not completly desolate eaither. November seems to be a good month. Fireworks will be going on during your trip, and people do tend to line up quite early, I would say about 1.5 to 1 hour before would be ok, but I would check to see how it looks about 2 hours before showtime. It is a great time to go to Disneyland, and Im sure you'll have a great time!

but does neone know if its gonna be crowded during this timeBeing it's the weekend before Thanksgiving, it souldn't be THAT crowded. Then again it all depends on what YOU call crowded. Being this years attendance numbers have jumped dramatically because of the 50th it's hard to say. As for the fireworks, people will start getting spots around 6:30 pm. If your planning on sitting in front of the castle (Which I highly recommend) plan on being there near that time to get a spot up front AND where you may still be able to sit.

I've heard that they are making everyone from the street back to stand the entire time. By 7:30 there will not be a spot in front of the castle available and if you wait until 8:30, you might be standing where you can't see the base of the castle. And that you HAVE to do!

Mickey will be getting a lot of attention at that time because November 18th is Mickey's birthday, in other terms, he became famous on this day in 1928 in Steamboat Willie.

I'll be there on 11/18 & 11/19. We went this same weekend last year and it was a little more crowded than I expected. This is the weekend that the Chirstmas Fantasy Parade begins. Maybe that's what brings more people out. Just make sure you use the fastpasses as much as you can and be sure to see the fireworks!!! Try to do as much as you can but don't be disapointed if you can't do everything! Remember...One day at Disneyland is better than NONE! Have fun and I'll watch for you in the parade!

I went with my friend and my brother for my friend's birthday, which was on Veteran's Day(Nov.11) and it was way crowded. We're planning on going November 22nd this year...since it'll be the week of Thanksgiving do you think it will be crowded? I'm thinking it was just crowded last year because of the holiday.

Shouldn't be too crowded. It doesn't start to get really crowded for Thanksgiving until the weekend after!
I'll be there on Thanksgiving Day (which just so happens to be my birthday this year!--double cool!)

I have cousins that used to be in a marching band.
They would travel from Montana to Disneyland. I will be at Disneyland at this time too. I have never seen the park this time of year. I'm sure crowded or not we will both have a good time.
