You're on the right track. DCA currently has the drop program known as "Tower 2." Tower 2 is has the drop sequence that repeats itself and is the same every time you ride. DCA is rumored to be receiving the Tower 4 program in WDW that essentially "randomizes" the drop sequence. Don't be fooled though, it isn't the same drops just in different order, they randomize both intensity and style. For example, in WDW, both times I rode it there did not have an initial first drop, nor the air-time crazy bunny hill that DCA's has. This makes me really worried that the really good air-time elements of Tower 2 will be gone if Tower 4 is actually put in.

^^I know what you mean. although DCA's drops are the same, you get like 4-5 in a row and it's very fun each and every time. my favorite is how unsuspecting riders don't know that it drops the first time after the projected elevator drops. however in WDW you go through the dimension room and basically know that the drop is coming as you go forward. in DCA it's much more surprise and the drops keep on coming. also, I love how you drop and then you go up real fast that's great!

In a way, I think it would be kinda cool to have the Tower 4, that'll be pretty awsome, randomness XD, but if they do change it, I will miss the old drops, people not knowing when there going to drop, then just smile when the first drop is about to happen.

I hope they just leave it as it is. Then the two ToT's in the States will be different. Let one have one drop system and the other have the other. Wonder what the new two will have.

The drop sequences are different. I go once a week and my girlfriend and I have noticed the differences every time we go. We rode it two times in a row last Tuesday and they were both different. It's pretty cool. The best random drop sequence is the one where your last drop takes you straight up, then all the way back down without interruption. It's pretty cool.

Ohh boy the ToT! I absolutly hate, but love=), that ride! I haven't heard much about this rumor, but I hope it stays like it is. JayandSara, I like the last drop like that too, when it takes you all the way up and it drops you all the way down, with no stops!

Also theres a Tokyo Disneysea version of the ToT coming to the park. It is still being constructed and it looks so tall. It opens somewhere in 2006.

I like the Tower2 sequence myself. I love the unexpected drops and the bunny hils with the massive air time.

Actually, in the Tokyo version, they're not going to have the "Twilight Zone" theme because not a lot of people in Japan know what the Twilight Zone is!

That link will certainly help (use the toolbar to see construction photos), and there MUST have been a Tower 3, because they wouldn't just skip a number!

You may notice some new details on each ride, especially if you're unfamiliar with the ride, but DCA's drop sequence is the same every time. There is no such thing as Tower 3 to my knowledge & numbers can be skipped quite easily. Not using Twilight Zone theme in Tokyo must have legal implications. I mean, you have the international aspect, the borrowing of trademarks from CBS again aspect & all of that. Seeing plans for a Tower w/o Twilight Zone just looks funny & not something I'd take seriously. I'm sad over it because Tower peaked my interest in The Twilight Zone TV show & I'm discovering how great a show it was by watching its episodes now. Wouldn't have happened w/o Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Watch some of it on the Sci-Fi Channel if you have a chance, more old-school goodness.

I've been riding ToT at WDW several times a year since it opened, and I must say that the fourth version is the best. I'm glad DCA is getting it!
