First off have a wonderful time on your trip to Disneyland. Here are my answers to your questions.

1. No, usually only Fri and Sat nights.

2. Not sure, good question though.

3. They have already strated putting up holiday decorations. HM should have its NBC overlay already. Check the DL website to see when they officially start their holiday season.

4. We are goin to stay at the Howard Johnson on Harbor Blvd. in Feb. I have never stayed there before but, I have heard nothing but good things about this hotel. Its only about 5-7 minutes from the maingate. We got a park view room for 75.00 with our AAA discount.

I hope this helps you out, again have fun.

We're also going to Disneyland in November and can tell you that according to the official site schedule at www.disneyland.com, there will be a fireworks display every night starting Friday, November 11 (Veteran's Day).

After reading reviews on a number of hotels in the area (check out www.tripadvisor.com), we decided on the Howard Johnson as it is only a short walk to the DL entrance and most people who stay there recommend it to others.

Hope this helps!

I prefer December, but November is good too. Fireworks I believe are daily at nights. Fantasmic is only on the weekends. Christmas decorations are slowing going up starting in November right after Halloween. Mousesavers.com has great ideas on saving money. Hotels.com is a good way to book hotels at cheap rates, but sometimes it's good to check the hotel itself on the internet and you might find cheaper rates. Other than that, have a great trip!
