My fiance and I are going to Disneyland Oct 19 - 22. WOOHOO!!! :p Although I have been many times, our last trip was March of 2004, I have never been at this time of year. Can anyone tell me what to expect? Will there be any special themeing like they do for christmas? What are the lines like? What is the weather like? Thanks for any info you can give me.

We went last Oct and the weather was pretty good. There were a couple of days of rain. But, as I have said before, Disneyland is great in the rain. Have a great time

Hello, my sister and some friends plan to visit DL on October... Given the title of this thread, I would like to ask too (if I may) about the crowds and how much does it differ from going there on a saturday than on a weekday (like a wednesday). I guess the difference is not as big as during the summer, but I feel that, because of the anniversary year, attendance may be higher than average. Thus we are considering going there on a weekday.
In addition, is there any sort of ticket offer for one day one park only (besides the current southern california 1 day park hopper). Any help would be appreciated.

Greetings,
Mid-October was our traditional time for the annual pilgrimage to Disneyland (always a nice way to celebrate our aniversary). The crowds are less than summer, and were definitely better during the week. However, with the 50th. festivities, who knows. The weather was normally a mixed bag. It was nice when a light shower hit the park. People would leave "en masse", we would window shop, eat, etc., anything inside. Then, enjoy a relatively quiet park ( for a while). If there is a hint of rain, take coats & stuff them in a locker, it's those unprepared that leave when a few drops come down. Besides a locker is closer than the car, or the hotel room. Have fun!
cheers,
Steve
