What Is the First Ride You Try to Go On?

The day after (or was it the day before) I spent the night in DCA, I got to Disneyland before the opened the whole park (when they just open Main Street so you buy stuff in your free time) and I maneuvered my way to the rope. When it finally opened, my group and I ran straight to Matterhorn 2 (Tommorrowland side). But I normally try to get Pirates, HM, Splash, and DCA done!

I always go straight toward Pirates and Haunted Mansion before anything else. I then go on Splash Mountain, then make my way toward Tomorrowland. After I've been on all my favorite DL rides at least once, I go to DCA...Then I go back to DL for another round. :smile:

I didnt vote because the ride I always go on first is always Space Mountain because my favorite land is Tomorrowland so I go on those rides first then we go on the Matterhorn and then Thunder Mountain and everything else is always in a different order depending on what we feel like

most of the time I always go on Indiana Jones first, now its space mountain, and a long time ago it was jungle cruise. none of them were on the list so I chose splash mountain which is sometimes the first ride.

Sometimes, I and a few other guests are allowed into Fantasyland early before the park opens to the public. I always run for Peter Pan so I can beat the little kids. I got there early so I went on it twice in a row. One time It was closed because of techincal problems and I waited for about 45 minutes. Fortunately only a few people were waiting too. When it re-opened I was the first one in line with a HUMONGOUS crowd behind me!

since it opened, it's always been blab, but since space mountain has opened, i have not been able to go to the park...so it'll prolly change to that once I get going again

I voted for Pirates, but it really depends on the time of day. If I arrive in the afternoon, it's POTC. However, if it's park opening, I hit Splash Mountain first. Of course, now that Space Mountain has re-opened, this next vacation is up in the air!

it's funny cuz in DCA instead of just dropping the rope, they actually lead the rope all the way to ToT cuz that's where most of the people go. i felt so like running around the rope and right to ToT, but i refrained

When I was little my mother always had us ride Pirates first. Then everything else. So I guess it is out of tradition that I still do this today with my kids. But my personal favorite is the Tiki Room.

We always check into the hotel, take a ride on the monorail (it's a ride!) and then go straight to Matterhorn. It's a tradition that started with the early admission thing, but apparently they ot rid of that.

Now that it's open again, Space Mountain.

Basically when I go, I make a direct run to Tomorrowland as soon as the park opens at 8:00 and go on Space Mountain at least three times in the first 90 minutes. Then I hit Indy, eat breakfast at the River Boat Terrace ($6-$7, not bad) and then either hit New Orleans Square or go over to the Matterhorn.

I go on Matterhorn first (technically it's the Monorail if that's the way I'm going).. Always a great way to start the day. Then I do a few 'dark rides' in Fantasyland before heading to Big Thunder. Then I FastPass Splash Mountain, go on POTC, HM and whatever else I have time more.. Or I can FastPass Space Mountain before or after that first Matterhorn ride.

For my daughters first time there she was 6. I couldnt wait to get her on IJ so I tried to get her ready for it by grabing her chair and shaking it! She is a daredevil and loves fast things. So we went right to IJ and now wealways do!

Last time, when I first got there, I went to "The First 50 Magical Years" and then on the DLRR (which I voted for)... A good once around the park sets the stage nicely. After that it was down Main St. and into the Main St. Cinema. After about an hour and half I finally went on my first ride-ride: Snow White's Scary Adventures. On day 2 I think we went on the Matterhorn first and on day 3 it was Indy.

Next time, the plan is Disney Animation, followed by "The First 50" to get in the mood, then a once around the DLRR, Main St. Cinema and the Haunted Mansion. We're pretty flexible for the following days, but I suspect it will be a revolving set of Indy, Space Mnt. and the Matterhorn.

I always hit Indiana Jones Adventure first. Not only is it important to go on it as much as possible without long lines (or a FastPass), but there's nothing like the smell of Adventureland in the morning!

We usually go in this order - Jungle Cruise, Indy, Pirates, Haunted, Fast Pass for Splash, back to Big Thunder then off to some other part of the park -usually Fantasy Land.

the first ride i go on is the train and ride it to nos and then i go to splash mountain and then i hit tunder mountain. then i hit the other rides as much as i can

every time, even when we aren't trying, we always end up on pirates first! We usually come in and get a fastpass for something and end up going on pirates or HM first. I don't know why!!

I dont know why but my parents use to always head towards Adventureland and we would ride The Jungle Cruise first and out of habit we always head in the same direction with our kids.

Ever since my daughter's first time to the park, when she was two, we've always made it a tradition to start and end with "It's a Small World". Even now that she's a teenager, we still do that! She expects it!

I always go for New Orleans Square hit up Indiana on the way, hit Pirates, Haunted & Splash, then I run over to Thunder.... pass through Fantasyland hit the Tea Cups, matterhorn, Small World, Toontown, DL Railroad to Tomorrowland to Autopia then onto Space, because my sister has already run over and got our fast passes. THEN it's lunch!

Hows that for half the park before noon. I always hit up the Tiki Room & Jungle Cruise after lunch to let my food settle. Hit a few stores and then get ready for a parade. After that I wander to what ever I feel like. I always save Fantayland for after Fantasmic... most of the kiddies have gone to sleep in their cute little hotel beds.

SO there....I never do DCA on my first day of my trip. I consider it exra! Call me crazy, I don't care for it too much but my son begs to differ.m He is in love with Screamin and HTH.

I go for The Disneyland Railroad first because to set the scene right. To check out the lands and have views that you can't get nowhere else. It's perfect for even the people who never went to the park before.

This is always out of family habit, Jungle Cruise or Indy, then we go clockwise. Indy is always early becasue the lines are not all that long in the mornings.
