Hello all,

Just looking into hotels for next Summers trip (think we're gonna stay at the Hyatt Regency OC again - or the Hilton Garden Inn - anyone ever stayed there?!) and I'm looking for the ones that were near us last Summer. I found two (the Hilton Garden Inn and the Anaheim Marriott) as I could remember the names of them but there's one I just can't remember the name of for the life of me. I think it was called the Embassy Suites but I've searched and that hotel's yellow/orange and the one I'm thinking of is pink. It's right next to the Hyatt Regency OC and the Hilton Garden Inn and it's pink. That's all I know. :icon_lol: I remember it looking OK'ish during the day so thought I'd at least have a look at it. I remember it being in total darkness at night though. Not good at all!!!

Thought one of you may know as most of you live a darn site nearer to the DLR than me!!! :icon_cry:

Hopefully this link will help. Last weekend I was at the Anaheim Plaza Hotel at 1700 S Harbor and the only negative was that the A/C was weak, which is minor. I didn't have a family with me, it was just me and two friends so I got there before they did and went to the lounge and they had a really nice lounge. I like to swim and they had an olympic size swimming pool and a large deck around it. Great place.

Try checking out the Park Inn and Suites in Annaheim. It's directly across from the pedestrian main entrance to the Disneyland Park. 5 minutes walk tops. It's in pretty good shape too, but a little expensive.

I like to stay at staybridge suites. If you have a family such as four people it has a queen or king bed and two twin beds and a pullout queen. This place rocks they have free hi speed internet in your hotel room for your laptop and it actually works. If you don't have the proper cables then you can get one for a twenty dollar deposit which you'll get back when you returen the cable. Every morning they serve hot breakfast and its allways tasty. And they do a thing called sundowners at around dinner time and the have dinner (the hotel calls them orderves). They have wine and beer and even a soda fountain. On BBQ nights the hotel manager goes and cooks burgers and hotdogs on their genuine weber grills that any hotel guest can use any time. Another thing is they have a free self serve laundromat. FREE:biggrin:! They have a pool, whirlpool, exercise room and a sports court. (basketball, badmitton, and Tennis, and other sports that use a net) Every room has a small kitchen with a large fridge and med. sized freezzer that has an ice maker. For a family of four i recomend the two bedroom two bathrom suite. Each room has a tv and in the family room they have a dvd, vcr combo so on the days that your tired and not in the park you can watch movies. All of the rooms have cable tv as well.Another great thing is that im in high school and over fall break we usually have to do essays, and i go downstairs into there free business center and i can type reports up and even print them out for free. They have to Dells hooked up to hi speed internet. A very nice amenity. It is a little to far to walk to the park but it is only one mile so its not to far. And it is on the ART route (anahiem resort transit the buses that look like trollies) for more info about ART go to www.rideart.org and they also have fairs and you can buy day passes at the hotel near the stop. Since it isfurther away from disney its also quieter which i like. Here is the website to info about Staybridge: http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/sb/1/en/hd/laxad
