...it looks like we might be able to go to Disneyland after all! (jumps for joy)
We'd be in the area from the 11th to the 16th and in DL 12 and 13th just like planned before. Only thing is now I have to find a good/cheap hotel with only a weeks notice.
Anyways, I'm not going to get too excited yet, cuz I have to find one and make a plan of what its gonna cost now before I'm committed to the trip.

So I was hoping anyone know of a hotel within WALKING DISTANCE to Disneyland that is a decent/comforatable room but at a cheap price (looking for $85 Canadian or less).
Since gas prices are rising and we'll have to drive from BC, Canada, we're looking for any ways to cut costs but still be comfortable and have a good time. So it has to be worth it money wise to go.... (sad, but its the way it has to be)

Hey-I stayed at the Ramada Maingate for July 17th. It wasn't the nicest hotel, but it was good for the price. Just checked the website(link below) and checking in the 12th and checking out the 14th it is $69 a night in American dollars. It is easily within walking distance and right next to Denny's, which could be a nice money saver to eat at.;) When I just stayed there, I had no problems at all with the service or the room. Just don't expect anything super fancy. I think you can get a fridge in your room for an extra fee. Hope this helps!

I'm assuming you'd be staying the nights of the 12th and the 13th then?
I did some quick searches, and as of right now $85 canadian would be around $71.70 in US dollars(wow! I haven't even noticed, didn't it use to be 2:1 or something?).

Best Western Stovall's Inn - $60.30 (http://www.hotels.com/property.do?mtnHotelID=287248&page=info&numadults=2&numchildren=0&numrooms=1&CIDay=12&CIMonth=9&CIYear=2005&CODay=14&COMonth=9&COYear=2005&z_property=&gds=3&thisPageNumber=1&roomOccupancyString=1||2|0|0&qKey=null&roomTypeCode=9965) Map (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=1110+w+katella+ave+anaheim,+ca&spn=0.019614,0.028131&t=k&hl=en) The ones in this area, you walk up Disneyland Dr. to downtown disney and take the monorail in(or walk to the main gate). I've stayed next door at the Days inn and Alamo Inn

Best Western Pavillions - $63/night (http://www.hotels.com/property.do?mtnHotelID=290437&page=info&numadults=2&numchildren=0&numrooms=1&CIDay=12&CIMonth=9&CIYear=2005&CODay=14&COMonth=9&COYear=2005&z_property=&gds=3&thisPageNumber=1&roomOccupancyString=1||2|0|0&qKey=null&roomTypeCode=9977) Map (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=1176+w+katella+ave.+anaheim,+ca&t=k&hl=en) Seems pretty decent.

Portefello Inn - $59/night deluxe room $68/night king suite (http://www.hotels.com/property.do?mtnHotelID=287965&page=info&numadults=2&numchildren=0&numrooms=1&CIDay=12&CIMonth=9&CIYear=2005&CODay=14&COMonth=9&COYear=2005&z_property=&gds=3&thisPageNumber=1&roomOccupancyString=1||2|0|0&qKey=null&roomTypeCode=26549) Map (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=1831+s+harbor+blvd.+anaheim,+ca&spn=0.019614,0.028131&t=k&hl=en) Don't know anything about this one, have never walked by it.

Anaheim Plaza Hotel - $58/night 2 bed room($54 one bed) (http://www.hotels.com/property.do?mtnHotelID=290477&page=info&numadults=2&numchildren=0&numrooms=1&CIDay=12&CIMonth=9&CIYear=2005&CODay=14&COMonth=9&COYear=2005&z_property=&gds=3&thisPageNumber=1&roomOccupancyString=1||2|0|0&qKey=null&roomTypeCode=83382) Map (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=1700+s+harbor+blvd.+anaheim,+ca&t=k&hl=en)

Rodeway Inn - $49.50 / night (http://www.hotels.com/property.do?mtnHotelID=295487&page=info&numadults=2&numchildren=0&numrooms=1&CIDay=12&CIMonth=9&CIYear=2005&CODay=14&COMonth=9&COYear=2005&z_property=&gds=3&thisPageNumber=1&roomOccupancyString=1||2|0|0&qKey=null&roomTypeCode=73205) Map (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=1211+west+place+anaheim,+ca&t=k&hl=en) Located in the northwest area but right next to the parking structure tram

Penny Sleeper - $47.50/night (http://www.hotels.com/property.do?mtnHotelID=279603&page=info&numadults=2&numchildren=0&numrooms=1&CIDay=12&CIMonth=9&CIYear=2005&CODay=14&COMonth=9&COYear=2005&z_property=&gds=3&thisPageNumber=2&roomOccupancyString=1||2|0|0&qKey=null&roomTypeCode=5093) Map (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=1441+S+manchester+ave.+anaheim,+c a&t=k&hl=en) And then of course there's always the Penny Sleeper. Cheap hotel by the likes of Motel 6 and Super 8

Obviously there are many more outside of the quick little block I just found but figured to just get you started =)
