Which ride do you think is better? Pirates of the Caribbean or Haunted Mansion? Whick is the better theme song? Grim Grinning Ghosts, of A Pirate's Life For Me? Only you decide!

I voted PotC, just because it rocks. But do not get me wrong, I still have love HM.

I promis I will vote but this is a hard choice. I think I'll go with pirates, yep....uh.. wait no Haunted Mansion.....no pirates. Um I like them both but pirates has a better song.

And the perfect place for one -- besides the obvious "At the end of the ride after the big hill" -- is in that dark cave right before the cannonball fight... not too long after the second drop.

However, what the ride would benefit from is not running so many boats at the same time. Then you know what's coming up when you hear people ahead of you screaming.

The Haunted Mansion is a better ride. The special effects are so cool so I like it. I love all of the music in the Haunted Mansion too. I also like the Pirates music, but not as much as the mansion's.

I voted for both. Cause, they are dark rides, HM is using a Onimover and POTC is a water ride. I love both of the rides and the music so much.

This was a tough poll! Tough decision, but I went with POTC. But I love the Haunted Mansion, but I went with POTC. :redface:

But i think if you add more drops, the element of surprise would be less, because after the 5th drop, you will get used to it... (Love the drops, don't get me wrong :biggrin: )

It can't really go back down after that hill because then it would defeat the purpose of the hill being there. I would love more hills, though.

As for the poll, I voted for Pirates. I've never been on Haunted Mansion with my eyes open.

Eeek! How can you choose!?! :) I love the HM but it's too short! And PotC is longer so you can relax a bit! HM is sooo fun, though!

They're both great, but Pirates does it for me. Better song too.~ I was lucky enough, in 1971, to get to tour WED Enterprises, and saw some of the effects that had been developed for HM, but, for some reason, were not used, perhaps because they were simply too scary. There was one in particular, done (believe it or not) with mirrors, that made it look as if a giant skull was leaping right into the doombuggie with you. Scared ME to death! But then again... maybe... it's not too late.... (heh, heh,heh....)
