in case u dont know and are planning a trip during a busy time, book your trip through AAA and stay at a Disney hotles (disneyland hotel, paradise pier or grand californian) to get UNLIMITED thats right UNLIMITED fastpasses. you can only get one per ride per person at a time but you can have it for as many rides as u want!! although i should mention the pintrading pins and lanyards dont look as good, it is worth during peak seasons. while my sisters and i have a snack in new orleans square or there abouts, my parents will grab fast passes for things like splash mountain, indiana jones, thunder mountain, and stuff in that area. we will have grabbed space mountain and astro blasters on the way in and then when it comes time to start using them, its boom boom boom and they will all be done in a couple of hours. it is so nice and i highly recomend it.

Yep, you feel happy, Disney feels happy because you spent way more than just a ticket & food there & AAA feels happy because they get used. Everyone wins.

Is it only through tripple A?? I spent a fortune to take my family there this coming Christmas and after last year, am trying to make any adjustments for the better that I can make. I am having my stepdaughter meet us in Orange County (she did not get to go last year) and am very excited (The kids are 11 and 13. I am looking for any and allsuggestions to make this the most memorable experience they have ever had.

The Enhanced Fast Pass is only offered through AAA and some packages from the Walt Disney Travel Company. The tickets can only be purchased as part of a Park Hotel package.
The regular AAA discounted tickets (1,2,3 and 4 day passports) include free parking and a slight discount off the regular price, but no enhanced fastpass option.

There is a rumour that this perk will be going away in 2007. We have had this in the past and it is the only way to go!!!

Well if it does go away, just remember that you can get one FastPass every 2 hours, no matter what. Most of the time, you're going to be walking around/riding/eating or otherwise busy enough to not even realize the 2 hours passed. So sometimes just knowing that can feel like you've got an enhanced FastPass.

I guess that works wonderfully for the people who are AAA members.

We're planning a trip in late Jan, and checked the AAA program. The enhanced FASTPASS is no more as of Jan 15, 2007. Boo!
The 2007 AAA deals include a soft drink mug for each person that gives you free soft drinks in the park, but no more enhanced FASTPASS.

Is it UNLIMITED soft drinks? That could save you a bunch of money! Except that you would have to carry a mug around with you all day.

I actually have no guaruntee this deal is still going on but it would still be for fastpasses and require you to stay at a disney hotel and book either through disney or AAA one or the other but I'm not sure which.

We have used this in the past, and it works great, but last we heard from our AAA agent, the fastpass enhancement will not be available through AAA this year. It might be offered through the Disney Travel Co or some other source, but we have not been able to find this out yet.
