I agree that the tinkerbell is such a great effect because you can hardly tell that there is a line where tinkerbell is flying along.

I voted for Tinkerbell out of those choices... but my favorite really is Malificent turning into the Dragon in Fantasmic!

Dang it- I loved Believe...There's Magic In the Stars and I don't even remember a floating ball effect.

So out of those choices I like Tinkerbell flying around. Even more so now than before because she goes around instead of doing that straight line thing.

What floating ball in Believe? Did I miss something?

All of those are great moments, but I voted for Tink's flight. The combination of the music, fireworks and Walt's speech help make it so perfect. It's so awesome to watch her fly up and down and all around the castle. They took something that was already cool and made it 100 times better.

What floating ball in Believe? Did I miss something? At the beginning of Believe... There's Magic in the Stars, a floating ball would bounce around the turrets of the castle. It was supposed to be Tinker Bell. The ball actually did not appear in Believe... until the show had been running for about 8 months. You can see it on RU42's video in the Gallery

Oh, that ball. Now I remember. I was thinking it was some big ball that was bouncing around the castle. Now I get it.

I picked Tinkerbell in RDCT even though you can see who she flies and gets around just the complexity of the rigiging that is up there is incredible. By riggin I mean all of the wires and things that make her flight possible. That is what makes Tinlerbell's flight most amazing of the 4 choices. :p

Any ideas how they make Tinker Bell fly the way she does now.

I picked Mickey just because I love stuff with trap doors.

I know! You figure how it's done... but it's still so magical.

Ok it's gotta be Tink's Flight...

then the ball in Believe...

then Mickey disappearing and reappearing...

then the Evil Queen

But they all rock

I think I know how Tink bobs up and down. I think the contraption that holds her is spring-loaded. When it swings her, she goes down. But when she "catches up" with it, she floats up. Watch her closely on RU42's video, you'll see what I mean.

My actual favorite magic in DLR is the fireworks shot from Mickey's Fingers in Fantasmic! That's just awesome!

My favorite effect is that witch that used to be in the cage of the Villian shop. It was pretty impressive, not to mention very scary!

She's now in the Bat en Rouge shop in New Orleans Square. Toward the back in the corner.

I also like the way Tink just seems to go straight for a second (when she comes out of the Matterhorn), then drops and lifts off.
