As the title says what is the nicest thing someone at DLP Has done to you?
The nicest thing that someone did was when they gave me their fastpasses for BTMRR. That was so nice I gave them one of my pins. I just felt in a good mood that day>

I don't know if this is the nicest thing someone has done for me, but, here is the scenario:

Back in April, my older sister and brother and I went to DLR on a Thursday (they had gone alone the day before and we had gone with our dad the day before that lol), and I didn't want to go on Splash (calls self coward). So, we decided to split up. I was to go wait in line for Pooh (Hey, it's a cool ride!), ;). So I went to wait in line and halfway their, the ride broke down (no, still not to the point!).

So, as we promised to meet at the Hungry Bear Cafe, I went there. Once there, a kind lady told me that there was a (dun dun dun!) wasp on my back. She told me to flick it off, but I couldn't, but it finally flew away. I said thanks to her, and she went into the bathrooms and I never saw her come out! (We were at the Bear for a whle).

Well, that's mine so far!

In the smallest detail possible: a CM working at the Indiana Jones outpost shop cheered me up by chatting and joking after a miserable incident, put a hat on my head and said, "I dub thee, Miss Indiana Jones!"

His name was Steve. Old story.

I remember one time, I went with my friend to DL and right when I was about to enter, the CM told me it was a black out day for my pass, I was really scared and I didnt know what to do, so the CM opened the stroller gate and told me to go in, I was soooo shocked and happy and I told him "Thank you very much." then he said, "No problem." My friend told me, I owe him big time, then we just laughed then had a very good day after that, that was really nice of him, I have my list of black out days now and i'll never make that mistake again :p .

One time back in like 2001, we got "Fast Passes" for the very latest time slot for Splash Mountain, or so we thought...we were knew to the FP thing and never noticed that the passes were not valid b/c I guess we were holding some for the same time slot for another attraction. When we got to the part of the line where you hand the CM your FP, she looked at it and whispered, "You know these aren't valid, look." and she pointed. I looked at her with a mortified look and said, "We didn't, I mean, oh no." She smiled and waved me and my peeps through. I was so thankful

I don't have anything that stands out, but I did do something nice for someone. After the fireworks show a few months ago my girlfriend and I went into Frontierland. It was dark and empty and I saw a bag next to some empty benches. I looked inside and found a video camera and some other things. I turned it in to the closest shop. I really hope that family got it back!

I'm sure that people have done nice things for me DL, but i'm sad to say that at the moment I can only thing of bad things people have done...but I do know that one time I gave up my fastpass to a little kid who was with friends, and was the only one of them with no fastpass for the ride. My pass just happened to be in the same time limit that the kids friends were.

*Gets a warm feeling at the thought that DL really can be a place for kindness, and genorosity*

I did a nice thing for another guest. I was walking throug Fantsyland and I found $20.00 on the ground. I heard a family talking and they said they want Churros, but there mother did not have enough money. So walked up to them and I gave them the 20 bucks. Told them to buy the Churros with it. They thanked me and walked to the churro stand and bought 3 churros.

The nicest thing that someone did was when they gave me their fastpasses for BTMRR.

The samething happened to DH and DD on one of our trips. The nicest thing for me was when I was about 7. I had gotten and ice cream cone on MS. I turned and to walk away and my ice cream scoops fell on the ground, well I was about to cry. The CM that had served me that ice cream cone came out from behind the counter and said "here lets get you another one on the house". She made me very happy indeed.

It was black and it had a skeleton like cat on it and it said "I guess no one wants to play with me" and she started talking about how she loved cat's and the Nightmare Before Christmas (i didn't have the heart to tell her that it wasn't from a movie) and my friend already had her ice cream but she asked if she wanted free toppings and no one's going to pass that up so we got free toppings. lol. Even if it was "free topping night" it was still nice!

I'll give two separate stories.

The first occured when I was about five. We went to DL and I wore an Alice in Wonderland dress - the whole nine yards. We went to one of the shows they had then, with singers and the characters. They selected me to come up on stage to be sung to, and I got a free pinwheel, too. It was a lot of fun.

Two years ago, we visited the park in December and our trip fell over my mom's birthday. My mom got one of the stickers and lots of "Happy Birthdays!" The best gift was from a CM on a Segway over in Tomorrowland. We stopped to chat with him about the Segway and had a nice conversation. At the end, he pulled out a little pad of paper and started writing on it. Then he gave them to my mom and said "Happy Birthday" before segwaying away. He had given us three passes to go to the head of the line on any ride in both parks. It was a really great gift!

Two stories:

My youngest daughter, about 6, got picked to pull the sword from the stone - she was Queen Natalie for the day, and whenever the princesses were out they curtsied to her - my daughter had the absolute best time in the world that day!

My Mom, at the beginning of her illness, went with me, my girls, my brothers family from out of town and of course my Dad - she was escorted on rides, given the white glove treatment - they could only stay for about 2 hours but my Mom said it was one of the best times she had cause the CM's were so thoughtful

I think stories like this and the others are really a lot of what makes Disneyland so magical. I know that there are sometimes rude people there, but for the most part, I think the kindness is contagious -- and this is a big part of why I soooo love this place!

Mine doesn't stand out but once there was this little boy probably like 2 years old and he was standing by the matterhorn line and he was crying his eyes out and I asked him wat was wrong and he said he couldn't find his mom..so I got out of the line and helped him find his mom. After like 5 minutes I found his mom standing by the churro stand...she didn't seem to worried about the little boy..which was really sad. I'm just glad the little boy found his mom

I just got back tonight from my first DL trip with my boyfriend. On our first night there, I told him we had to watch the fireworks from Main St.; I knew it'd be so cool and romantic. When it got to the finale of the show, he grabbed onto me and told me how much he loved me. He asked me if I'd promise to be his forever (of course I will, he's "The One") and he suddenly opened his hand, and there was a little box in it. He opened it and it was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL DIAMOND RING!!!!! He told me it was a "Promise Ring" because we're too young, (true, I'm only 18) but he will ask me to marry him someday. I started crying as he put it on my finger. I was bawling in front of tons of people on Main St., and I totally didn't even see the finale. The best DL trip ever!!! <3

these happened the same day:
first, (Before my family ever got annual passes) We were having lunch in theat one New Orleans resteraunt after church one sunday, when a family of four walked by us and asked if we had tickets to the park. We told them that we didn't because we were there only for lunch. They asked if we wanted they're unused tickets because they had to leave early because his wife was going into labor and that he didn't have time to get a refund. So we got into the park without spending $200!
next, while in line for Splash Mountain (it was a long long long long line) we saw a CM that we go to church with, she took us to the CM stairway to the front of the line and let us go on in less than ten minutes (that's about 50 minutes sooner than the ride's line).

One day at DL my cousin and I went to Redd Rockett's Pizza Port to have some of their bread. It was late at night, and we were short on cash, so we could only afford the bread and one drink, which we would share. When we went to pay, the cashier lady for no reason at all just let us have the drink for free. That was really nice of her. :)

One of the cast members working on Indiana Jones liked the Indy hat I was wearing and gave my friend and I front row and the drivers seat. The other time was when the Indiana Jones ride broke down on a different day they gave us front of the line passes to use on any ride.

When my twin girls had their 6th birthday, we took them to Disneyland. Being their first trip their they were WAY excited. The first ride we went on was Pirates of the Caribbean, and we were placed in the back bench of the boat. Being very excited, they chatted with a lady in front of us about their birthday trip. We rode the ride as usual and as the boat reached to top of the waterfall at the end, the entire boat began singing Happy Birthday to them complete with their names and everything. They were joined mid-chorus by people in line and cast members. They were thrilled beyond words and its something they still talk about now 6 years later. Whoever that lady is, Thank You for making my girls trip so wonderful!

when i was little like 7 or 8 years old...i went to disneyland and my first stop was the ice cream corner (i don?t know if it?s corner or shop) wekk the one that?s near the fresh fruit stand. The thing is that i was with my dad buying a super chocolate ice cream (it was like a king size!!!) so i we we left the corner and when i was just about to taste my delicious ice cream...it felt right to the floor!!! i was about to start crying when a employee from the park passed right in front of me and saw me crying.. he saw my ice cream on the floor, took my hand and gave me another free ice cream...i?ll never forget that day!!!

One time we were at a store in DLR, We bought a lot of stuff from that Princess store inside Sleeping Beauty's Castle , and the lady at the register remembered us from another time, and we were talking to her alot last time about something and she like my Mom's purse and blah blah, lol anyways she gave us a discount of like 10%
and she was like " Just don't tell anyone" lol, she was probably the sweetest lady in Disneyland, although I sadly do not remember her name, but she is a great person!

I have plenty:

Back when i was like, lets say 7, my great aunt and grandmother took me to DLR. While sitting in the front seat of the Jungle Cruise, the skipper asked me my name (Derick), and he said his name was Derick too. So he let me drive the boat! I got to steer it (of course before i knew that it was on a track) for half the trip. it was great!

These weren't as memorable as the last one, but the fact that they all took place on the same day was. They were all last April, when i took a solo trip to DLR:

-While in California Adventure, in line for ToT, a couple that i had been standing behind the whole time let me go in front of them once we got to the elevator cause they saw i was on my own

-Later, while trying to get in my last ride of Indy before the end of the night, i was pratically running to the line, when a CM stopped me. He asked 'where's your party?' and i responded 'i am the party'. he called me up and gave me a valid fastpass. i was on the ride in 10 minutes!

-After Indy, i went to go watch the final showing of Fantasmic!, and had a hard time finding a seat. This nice woman sitting near the center saw me searching, and moved her blanket over and allowed me to sit next to her :p

One slow afternoon in the fall I was wandering around the Emporium, and overheard a guest asking about his daughter being able to meet Snow White. She apparently had some health issue, and Snow White was her favorite character. And of course, she was in her Snow White dress.

A check of the schedule and a call somewhere didn't seem to be panning out. The CM didn't give up. I was intrigued at this point and decided to follow them outside (from a distance, of course!). The CM took off backstage, and came back a little bit later. He went up to the little girl, and started talking to her, as if trying to break the bad news.

But then Snow White came out from backstage and walked up behind the girl. The CM asked her if she believed in magic. She nodded yes. He told her to close her eyes, and turned her around. Snow White, addressing her by name, invited her to open her eyes. I don't think I've ever seen someone's face light up like that. And I don't know who got more out of it: the girl, her parents, Snow White, the CM, or those of us who saw it all happen.

When I was six, I was deathly afraid of the Haunted Mansion and I sobbed the whole way through the stretching room.. When we got out and went down the hallway, a boy about the same age as I was gave me his lightsaber and told me everything would be alright. It was really nice of him.

The nicest thing that DL did for me was at the DLH(Disneyland Hotel).
It was 1997(I was 11 at the time)and it was my last day at DL so for are(Me and my Mom)last day we went to go watch a parade. After the the parade I looked in my backpack to see my stuff dogPinkyand it wasn't in my bag!!!!I started to freak out and cry because he was my fav stuff toy.So my mom told to not panic(Not panic?yeah right.)and we both tried to figher out where it went.Mom thought I mite have left it in the Hotel. So she called them and asked them to see if we did leave it there. And we waited on the phone for awhile and the guy on the other line said "Yes we found it".I was so happy! It turnes out I left him on the Hotel room bed!I couldn't beleive that but I was so happy.
When we got back to the DLH there was pinky on top of are suit case. And thanked the guy for helping me find my lost dog.

Well I guess this would sort of count:

When it was my familys first time at AK we wanted to go on DINOSAUR. We were going down a turn around hallway and walked all the way down to go AROUND the rope. The peeps went UNDER the rope and let like 15 people CUT US!!! So when we got to the loading area the peoples were told to wait because there wasn't enough room for them so we went AHAED of them!! It was aweomse!!!

Hmm...not really sure about this one, but in July 2006 my friend and I were waiting in line for the Winnie the Pooh ride and they needed 2 people so we raised our hands at the same time when 2 other people raised their hands and for 30 seconds we were just saying back and forth to each other, "No, you go ahead" when finally the worker there said they could take all of us, but it was the thought that counted!

Well, the nicest thing that ever happend to me and my family was when we went to Disneyland on Christmas of 1999. We were in line for about 2 hours for one of the rides, then they said it had broken down. They gave us a fast pass for any ride. But at that time we had no idea what a Fast Pass was because we hand't been there for 5 years. Well, we went back the next day with the fast pass and they let us in to go on the ride that had broken down. (They said only that ride, and one of the worker went with us to escort us) But he let us ride it 5 times, then he took us on all the rides at least once. He was very nice. I really enjoyed it because it was my birthday when that happend. I've always said that was my best Birthday ever!

the nicest thing(s) some has done for me was, when me and my aunt were in the back of a 2 hour wait for Splash Mountain, 2 people came up to us and gave us fastpass tickets that were already allowed to get on the ride. Oh also, i remember the first time i went on TOT, i didnt like it, i was scared and shaking when i got off the ride and so the CMs that were giving out stickers gave me 2 stickers each. Another time, was when i was with my friends and we were in line for a show (this also happened for a ride on the same night) and then me and my friends started talking to the CM that was there and then when we were about to go in and he gave us these great seats for the show. (for the ride they let us go on it first). I had fun that night with my friends.

I went for my 23rd birthday a few years ago (sadly it would be the last vacation I'd get to share with my younger brother, who was 17 at the time). My mom & dad would leave the park early to go to bed, well my brother and I got our own boat on POTC and It's A Small World. The cast members noticed my "Today's My Birthday" patch I had on so they made it very memorable for me. :)
