Disney could just pick and island and make "Island Disney Theme Park" now that would be cool

That would be a incredible view to have Disneyland 1,000 feet up in the air. I would think that the fireworks could been seen from all over

I know it would not be a wise economic move for Disney to build another theme park in the U.S.A. I think they should build one in Australia near Sydney. I think at this time that would be the best location unless they want to build another European (specifically in Central Europe or possibly in Western Europe including Spain, Portugal, or the United Kigndom) or Asian (specifically Chinese) park.

Wasn't it going to be in Spain initially, not the U.K.?
They should build one in Australia, But another in the USA like Montana/Wyoming area would be cool also.

Yeah it was Spain. I have the The Disney Magazine talking about the opening of the park. Wasn't something about the French not wanting Spain to have it?

^ No...Imagineering wanted it in Spain, because the climate excellent, but Michael Eisner had vacationed in France and liked it, so it went there. I s'pose its better, being in the middle, its closer to all of Europe.
I say there should be a park in a little strawberry field, just to the southeast of DCA ;) .
Then we can call it Disney's Berry Farm. :icon_twis :icon_lol:

Boy, My pick is falling to the way side :) I guess Washington was a bad idea. Of couse if they did build one up here I guess it would be a full indoor park.

I say Mexico City, All the other choises are stupid. Hawaii?! Dude. Mexico City Is probably 4 times the size of Hawaii. Mexico City Is perfect for a disney park.

think outside the box, my friends. a south american DL would be outstanding. they have the customer and employee base and Brazil and Argentina are huge tourist capitals and have great climates. tons of souh americans never get to go because flying to california or florida is waaaay to expensive. they would do very well there.

Of course I think Colorado. CO has plenty of open space and they could make it completely inside for the winter months. It would bring a lot of tourists, especially in winter when ski season starts.

I agree, I live in Canada in Vancouver, It rarely snows here and the scenery is beautiful, it does rain alot and it can get cold but there would be work arounds I am sure. Besides most of the rides are indoors so as long as you put heaters in the outdoor lines and over hangs to keep people dry it would work. Also they could create new themes based on colder climates like the articland...

I said Hawaii because it cost a lot for us Islanders to get over to California, and most of the people on the mainland could drive or have a cheaper flight.

Sydney is probably the best place for a new Disney park.

that's not true. sure there are active volcano's on several of the Hawaiian Islands. But what makes that the reason to not invest into putting a theme park there? There's plenty of tourist attractions on the islands, just because there are active volcano's there doesn't mean that anyone should avoid building on the islands. Hawaii is a good market, they bring in alot of money from year to year and it's constantly increasing.
I think what makes Hawaii a bad choice is the location. The shortest flight is from San Francisco, that's still a 5 hour flight, if you can get a non-stop. Hawaii is known for their tropical rainforest's and island romance. It's just not a good market for a theme park to invest money into. The land is perfectly stable in most parts of the islands. But if the reason for natural disasters is the reason you think is not suitable to build a theme park, then DL would have been considered a mistake as well as WDW.

honestly...you have a higher chance experiencing an earthquake than you do with a massive volcano erruption.

there will not be another magic kingdom in the us, we have to face that.
i say if there were to build another magic kingdom. I say Mexico City. 2nd largest city in the world and totally overlooked by disney, because the common sterio type about mexico is its dirty and gross but Mexico City has a beautiful cultural/city life filled w/ tradition and liveliness and isnt dirty like the steriotype.
