:icon_ques Which of these now-defunct attractions was your favorite? :icon_ques
I loved the Submarine Voyage, but the Peoplemover and the Skyway were definitely my closest favorites. There was just something really fantastic and immortal about those attractions.

Submarine Voyage of course!
"Got a whale of a tale to tell you lads,
a whale of a tale or two.
'Bout the floppin' fish and the girls I've love
on nights like this with the moon above.
A whale of a tale and it's all true
I swear by my tatoo!"

I say Rocket Rods. The ride was just different. And Tomorrowland just dosen't feel the same without the noise of the cars going around the track.

I can't vote for any of them. I liked the Subs, CBJ, PM, both Autopias and the Skyway just as much as the other one. I vote then for all on my list.

Peoplemover! I don't know why... it was just a neat old ride. I liked all the different things that you could see on that one ride - and you got to be a part of Tron... need I say more?

Sorry to disagree but I am kind of glad that the Rocket Rods are gone. How much fun is it to stand in line for 1 and half hours only to get on the ride and get off in under 2 minutes flat. That just doesn't make sense to me. But that is just my opinion.

That was tough, it was a toss up with Submarines and CBJ, but as BrunetteTinkerbell1955 said, the sub's are coming back.

Good point.
However, I just don't think the Submarine Voyage will feel the same, handicap-inaccessible way. :icon_lol:
But hey, at least the ride itself will be there!

That's a tough to decide! I picked the Skyway. I think that was a really cool ride. But I miss the people mover and subs too! Oh heck... I miss them ALL!!

The General Electric's "Carousal Of Progress'. My sister and I loved that one because it didn't require a lettered ticket to ride. It was totally free!

CBJ closed at 2001 or 2002, I think. Because my 2002 DL map says that CBJ is it's last performence and it will be gone.

I miss the Skyway because it gave you a birds eye view of the park which, as a child I was fascinated with being up high like I was flying. But was very saddened when the Country Bears left.....how can it be Critter Country with out them ???

I have to go with the Skyway. It was a great ride, nice and relaxing and like others have said an excellent view, great for taking pictures.
The other thing I miss, now this is going to show my age but, I really miss Captain Hooks pirate ship in Fantasyland.
I'm an ADVENTURE THRU INNERSPACE person myself.

I loved this ride. Adventure Through Inner Space was just incredible when I was younger. I remember reaching out and touching the giant key, and discovering that it was coated in rubber. It was just cool as cool can be. Perhaps you also remember this; In the queue, there was a conveyer-belt model of shrunken passengers moving along into the ride. Awesome. I found the original script for the start of the ride... here's part of it.
(Paul Frees "Narrator") " YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE: This is the tracking procedure of an adventure through innerspace. Adventurous men of science who have made this journey before you are carefully plotting every phase of this incredible journey as you shrink beyond the smallness of an atom: the smallest building block of matter. We wish you an enlightening experience. For though your body will shrink, your mind will expand."
Here's the entire script: http://www.themightymicroscope.com/ride-script.htm
For those who really miss it, the ride has been completely remade through computer animation, and a complete ride-thru has been created! I just found this by doing a google search for "Inner Space Ride". WOW! Here it is:
http://www.atommobiles.com/cgi-project.htm
There are video samples and everything! This guy has done an amazing job.
Sweet!
PS- I just looked up the filmography of the narrator of the ride, Paul Frees. He was the voice of many a Disney Character, including Ludwig Von Drake and the narrator of The Haunted Mansion, among many others. His career was incredible. Have a look.

I voted for the Country Bears. I always loved those bears and they never should have been taken out.
A close second would be the Skyway. Unlike the PeopleMover, the Skyway was a relaxing ride that gave great views. I never liked the PeopleMover. I like slow rides, but on the PeopleMover there was nothing to look at. It was a very long and boring ride.
I did like the Rocket Rods though. They gave great energy to Tomorrowland. I liked it because they were fast without being intense.

I could say on the Skyway there was nothing to look at and make just as much sense.

I miss Submarine Voyage. To me, it was a classic. There's no other ride like it. I will also miss Rocket Rods. I know the line was long, but for me and my friend, it was worth it. Besides other attractions, it was very futuristic. I loved the sounds of the cars. The speed, I miss. It was so much fun. I also kind of miss The Peoplemover. I don't remember it much. I was just a little kid back then.

I really miss the Rocket Rods, they brought more life to tomorrowland, and now its kind of depressing to just see the empty track sitting there...
