Bloodborne chemical messengers, such as interleukins, may also contribute to the sensation of "chills".

Hehe, that's the science behind it

When I see any footage from POTC or HM it gives me a chilly/giddy feeling like i'm seeing it for the first time all over again!

if just watching the videos gives you the chills just think about what it would be like to be there live and seeing happen.

Some of my chilling moments

Parade of Dreams - When they play the first part of Walt's dedication
"To all who come to this happy place...welcome" if you've seen or heard the parade you know what I am talking about.

Soarin' over California - When I experienced this ride the first time it was such a rush. The music is just that right sense of inspiration.

Fantasmic - As the music chimes in and the big crescendo hits and the lights surrounding the river shut off. And then the end with Mickey Mouse on top of the mill. So powerful, I instantly knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life (I am a technical theatre major)

The reason you people get "chills" is because you feel as though your actually there. That, or you have a past of mental problems and you turned the AC up too high. Or an apparition is soaring through you and your energy and the heat of the room is being gathared by the ghost, which leaves you with "chills".

Thank God! I thought that I was strange for getting chills when I read, see, or even hear something related to Disneyland!

Well part of it is the magic, but Disneyland has some cold rides. Take the Haunted Mansion for example: It's freezing in there.

I get chills when I walk under the railroad and start walking down Main Street and see the castle at the far end. It's like, "yea! I'm Home!!" And seeing as how it's at least a year between visits, it's a good feeling.

Thank goodness there are other people out there just like me! I really thought I was the only one that felt these things about Disneyland! :icon_lol: Anyways, I get chills just thinking about Disneyland! I love The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and everytime I here that song it gives me the chills. I have the 50 Years Celebration CD, and I listen to it all the time, and It has the audio track to the Remember Dreams Come True Fireworks Show, and that whole thing gives me the chills. It reminds me of the first time I saw that show! Thank goodness other people in this world love disneyland as much as I do! :p

I to get the chills but, I also get very teary eyed over the fireworks.

teary eyed? ive been on the verge or full on sobs of happiness. hahahaha.

its more so because of the memories and emotions that it stirs up...i dont think there is anywhere else in the world that can make me (or many other people for that matter) so teary eyed and giddy from explosions in the sky.

god i love disneyland....

Whenever I even see the commercial on t.v. for DLR i get the chills or teary eyed. I can't help it! Anything Disney just has such a special spot in my heart.

I don't really get the chills or anything, more just a knowing feeling. Like I know this place so much better then the actors on TV. Like DL is a 2nd home. Weird how that happens...

*Sees a DL commercial on TV at that moment and faints*

I dunno if this counts-

I get chills at the end of the "Friend Like Me" number in the Aladdin show in DCA. Especially when all the genies do a chorus line down the giant lit-up stair case. Perhaps it's because "Friend Like Me" is my favorite song, and it's being done in a huge Vegas-style production number....

I also get chills while listening to the Fantasmic theme music. :-D

I usually get chills, whenever I entered the entrance of the Disneyland resort. Also seeing Fantasmic! and Pirates of the Caribbean.

July 17, 2005, 4:30 PM, standing in Town Square with my best friend that I have known since the day I was born, listening to the sound-bite of Walt's Opening Day Address and knowing we were standing so close to where he himself stood.

"To all who come to this happy place...Welcome."

You can hear him get a little choked up. I think we all do.
