i think it would be nice to have the country bears back to the disneyland resort,

come on now be real, do u go to see golden dreams everytime u go and its the first thing on ur list? its not really bringing that much people in anymore its like a one time seeing then that was nice then go on another ride and never speak of it again.

i really cant believe they took CBJ out and i think the disney people know people miss it and do not like the pooh ride

so i think it would be a nice addition to make DCA a better park and it would fit in with that whole "Bear" theme DCA has going on

I agree that Golden Dreams has to go. Its a lovely film, but there really isnt much repeat appeal to it. Id like to see an animatronic show go in there, like the country bears. A new CBJ show with some california ties would really get a lot of attention.

If thats still too much money for the park, Id like to see the theatre show several different films during the day. Maybe something like having Golden Dreams, and The Walt Disney Story air on a rotational basis. There are a lot of topics that might make for good short films to air in that theatre...

I only watched the Golden Dreams show once and I wanted to set fire to myself and poke my eyes out. Do they make an eraser for your mind? That show was horrible. I do agree it needs to be removed, but CBJ should not go there, it needs to be put back where it was and WP needs to go bye, bye.

I think the CBJ was... well, "Boring" and I think if it does come back it should come back somewhere in say, um... somewhere.

I think that's a great idea. It would totally fit in with the bear theme (brother bear, grizzly run) especially if they made the show themed about California. I do miss that show now that it's gone.

Just Joking Even thought I can see brunetteTinkerbell1955 becoming Belle in the near future. and No I am not a psychic so don't throw golden mouse ears at me if that doesn't happen. But it is more likely that she will become Belle then become a imagineer but who knows. Best of luck to you both

But yah Bring back CBJ in place of Golden Dreams

I like Golden Dreams. It is one of the few educational shows in DLR unlike CBJ which I don't care for.

In all of the times I've been to DCA I've NEVER seen the Golden Dreams thing. By the sound of it I think I'll pass. What's it about anyway? And is it true that Oprah is in it as well? Maybe someone confused her with Whoopi (don't know how that would happen but I did hear O made a cameo???) I like the idea of CBJ going in there with a California theme. My daughter cried and cried when they took CBJ out. When we go to the park now, she will just look at the entrance and try to remember how the other entrance looked. Very sad. Loved that show!

There is CBJ in a Goofy Movie. Goofy and his son were watching a show that looks like CBJ. I missed that show in Critty Country, Pooh replace that show.

I would totally agree that they need to put the Bears into DCA somewhere. I do not however, feel they should go in the Golden Dreams theatre. Golden Dreams, is actually a pretty good show. It could have been a lot better (perhaps something more like the America show at Epcot), but that's another topic.

I just don't see how a backwoods themed country music show would fit into the San Francisco area of that park. Yes, they COULD just remodel the area and extend the GRR theme to take over that area, but I would be opposed to that as well. It's bad enough that the California-themed park's only representation of San Francisco is in the form of one theatre and some restrooms... to take that out of theme park who's theme is getting ignored more and more would just be a bad idea.

If it was up to me, I would put the show in the GRR area as something to do, while waiting for GRR or Soarin' fast passes. There isn't a whole lot of room there, so I would suggest removing part of that Redwood Creek Challenge Trail to make room for the theatre.

Second choice? I think it might be interesting to actually put the show in the Grand Californian hotel. Possibly in the lobby, making it essentially free to the public... or possibly remodling part of hotel as it sits along the perimiter of the park, and putting the entrance on the park side.

It would make a great addition to that park though, I fully believe that. I would even be in support of changing the show somewhat. Perhaps making the show one about the influence that people from California have had on the music industry... or perhaps the bears could sing songs about California.

Even the Vacation Hoedown show itself would have fit in pretty well.

I agree. I never liked CBJ, and Golden Dreams does a good job at explaining California history. Besides, instead of bringing back an old show, why not create a brand new original show?

yes!!! benvolio7, i totally agree with replacing part (or all, IMHO) of the Redwood Creek Challenge with the bears. I was (heh, was? usually always am!) listening to the jamboree and vacation hoedown, and have been thinking about either show (but more-so cbvh) using the new 3d projection tech. from nemo to include some awesome special effects, esp. during the 'ghostriders' scene...
oscar wants to hear a story. 'a real scary story?' 'uh huh.' -cue ghostriders in the sky. it makes me cry thinking the last time I saw that show was back in 1993, other than on youtube :) . by the way, this is my first post here... so, hi! to wrap it up, though, when on wtp (yuck!), turn around after leaving the heffalumps and woozles room and look up. you will very pleasantly find the three mounted heads, well... mounted ("we're kinda hung up here, anyhow") and lit up with their respective nametags. i'm going tomorrow (jan. 27) and will take pictures (or really, a picture) and/or video of them. here's to a speedy, successful and greatly modernized AA return of the show!

Um... ok the point of that was?
Anyways I actually like Golden Dreams.

Well you all know the story?

The land behind the Brother Bear Challenge Climbing, which is part of the Grand Californian,
was being prepped for a show building less than two years ago!

It was rumoured to be for a Country Bear Jamboree/Restaurant so you could have lunch I guess then watch the bears.

BUT, now cos of the Year Of Million Dreams, that land is being used for a
Vacation Club expanision to the Grand Californian.

Isn't that interesting?
