What kind of music does everyone like here? *besides Disney* I like Oldies, the Beatles, and sountracks especially.

Yeah... I like jazz and instrumental too. My parents own a CD store, so I can have any music I want. lol (besides Disney music only available in the parks)

I like a lot of the bands previously mentioned. I like a lot of stuff, mostly I like oldies, clasic rock, and underground hip hop (Rock the Bells is in San Bernardino this sat. if anyone is interested) . That is really all I listen too, but my collection does range. And I love At The Drive In, whatever they would be.

^Thanks! :p Opps! I spelled it wrong! It's funny how much I like them-because I am one of those people who has to memorize all the lyrics to songs. I cannot really memorize their lyrics...because I do not know what they are saying! haha! Oh well-I can imagine. We got to see them live at the Warfield in S.F! It was AWESOME! The lead singer lit himself on fire! It was so cool! The fire department was there-and he was fine;) We decided to get balcony seats though-cause we did not want to get beat up in a mosh pit!

Well with me, I like Jpop and anime music, japan stuff, I dont really listen to much stuff from here, like rap or hip hop or anything of that type, im really into Yoko Kanno right now, shes a japanese composer, does great great stuff XD. Plus into Aikawa Nanase, Do As Infinity, and Utada Hikaru << shes the one that sings the song Simple and Clean from Kingdom Hearts.

There was a death metal cover album of Rush songs that I picked up. I don't know any of the bands and most of it is crud. It's called Red Star a tribute to Rush http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00000K38P/701-7976741-5180352

Can anyone tell me if any of these bands are known? There is a band that covers Tears (the acoustic number in 2112) that is AMAZING! It is a so greaet a cover that it becomes it's own song. The band that covers it is Capitol 2 - Of course I have never heard of them...

A Perfect Circle did a good job covering it. I knew a producer that did a bunch of Lennon's music, Lee DiCarlo. He also produced Footloose the song. I have been on a DMB kick and then Classical for sleepy time. Disturbed is playing at the Ventura theatre soon.

Love his style. He is playing in San Diego next month. I have 2 of his CD's in my car stereo followed by Rammstein and Peter Gabriel. I am mad I missed Peter Gabriel last year when he toured out here.

Reliant K has actually been out for quite a while in the Christian market - they're just starting to get introduced to the mainstream. One of my favorites is their cover of the Charles In Charge theme song!

I am pretty open when it comes to music and what I listen to. I don't really like country but can withstand it if I need to.(I do lighting at a club for a living(maybe for the next year then I am off to College) I am only 21 but anyways. Ihave to listen to all different kinds of music. But personnaly I like right now.... Kelly Clarkson,Diana Degarmo, Linkin Park, The Bravery, and many others.... The only music that I really don't like is Hip-Hop.........I hear to much of it at work(the Dj plays music after concerts untill 2am so I have to listen to it:icon_evil...... Hip Hop is the only music that I refus to listed to when I am home at my house not at work......:cool:

I love pretty much all styles of music, our cd collection ranges from classical & broadway tunes to hard rock & heavy metal.....the only thing you won't find in my house is rap ..... I don't get it, nor do I think I ever will......lol But everyone has some type of genre that reaches out to them......rap just isn't my cup of tea :smile:

You rock!! Metallica is my favorite as well. Saw them and Godsmack at the Pond last November. What a show! I have been on a big Dave Matthews Band kick for awhile now. I busted out my 1931 C.F. Martin and have been practicing. Nothing like the sound of an old steel string acoustic. Must learn DMB stuff. Burbank Huh? I work in Burbank.
