Does anyone know anyplace where I can get a video of the ceremony or the video footage on the big screens that played during the day? I would have shot the video myself, but someone* used up a bunch my camera's memory on Fantasmic the previous night.

And could we get a video of the Disneyland: The First 50 Years show video?

Thanks for any cooperation.

they have the full show from 7/17/05, you have to look through 16+ pages of photos, but mixed with in are 4 real player clips (7-8 minutes each) that is the whole thing. Art linkletter, Walts daughter, michael isner, igor, and the govenator!

I have a video for the first 2/3rds of the 50th show (they say your not supposed to video it) I can refilm it, but I have had no luck in uploading video clips to this site. (I have asked for help, but get no replies!) I guess I will have to put them on my site with a link

Thanks, I'll check it out!

And another photo request; Could I get a picture of that Indy concept painting in the 50 years museum? I took a picture, but the flash was too bright.

Mouseinfo.com has the entire ceremony in 4 different .rm files posted for download. I'm not a fan of .rm files but it's better than nothing. As for the montages, unless someone had their camera out for it you probably won't see it. Have hope though, you might see it one day.

I, for one, would be in favor of Disney releasing those in a big special July 17th, 2005 DVD. Wouldn't that be a good idea? Have the ceremony, video montages, special features, 50th exhibit movie, etc all in one awesome 2-disc DVD. I think that would be a HUGE seller & finally people living in Ohio somewhere would know there's more to this celebration than WDW opening 4 new attractions!

Also, I have a pic of the Indy concept art, but it's not online so I'll have to email it/AIM it etc to get it to you.

The Gallery is a place to share photos and SHORT video clips. If you want to submit something to the site itself, that is usually done thru FTP.

They specifically ask that you not film the 50th Film because it is a film. (The same rules apply for most of the film-based attractions).

But it's soooo coool!! It is something that should endure the ages through VF video archives... or some such means.

^ The video I spoke of is not of good quality, sorry.

the pic I asked for is the one in the museum with the dark look too it, the one that actually looks like the built version.

Hello again.

I have the video from mouseinfo of the 50th ceremony, but one of my friends wants to see the video, and I can't find the video on the site! Does anyone know where it is? Or any video of the ceremony still on the net?

You're welcome.

The only thing I don't like about LaughingPlace's coverage is that the video ends right before the Happy Birthday song.

Exactly, but we have videos of those attractions anyway (except for the 3D ones, of course). Plus, other the other film based attractions are likely to be around or a long time, but the 50 Years show will not. It would be fantastic to have a copy of it (you could even release it after the show goes away) and a short review of the museum.

Please see the other thread regarding the "50th" film.

I'm going to close this topic now.
