Better late than never? ;)

They're up! And I have a few comments before they're scrutinized ;)
First off before anyone asks, no the VF one is not really a mosaic. VF doesn't really have a logo that lends itself to making a mosaic but I wanted something with VF in it so I just did a composite of images and the logo.
Second off =D If you're looking for stuff as good as Disneyland's and didn't send in any images, it's your fault they aren't hehe ;). I was attempting to make fairly large images with the limited amount of pictures I was sent in as well as my own. So there are a lot of image repeats. That's more than expected. And a couple of them I really had to pound that image into it a bit.
Either way, thank you to everyone who participated. I hope you enjoy.
If for some crazy odd reason you want a copy of one in a larger resolution than the "larger file" link provides, let me know how big you want it and I'll send it to you.

That is so cool! Man, now I'm really beginning to feel annoyed that I gave up VF from May 5 through July 17 because I didn't want to spoil anything. I missed so much! Anyway, you did a great job. I especially love the music on the page and in the movie trailer thing. How on earth did you get the 'Welcome' music????

Heh. purely a coincidence
I should make a couple more comments on each one...
VisionsFantastic - Already explained. Not a mosaic but wanted something with VF on it. It contains every single photo from everyone I believe.
Floral - So of all the basic colors, which one do you think I had the least of? It's not purple...it's not brown...it's green. Who'da thunk. Guess no one sent in anything of nature really. Trees woulda taken care of that. Beyond that, it was also a small challenge to get the thing framed and centered right. Including the train station was probably doable but I couldn't get a shot I liked and I'd have needed a more sizable picture library.
Fantasmic - I wanted to do one from the park. Small problem, the picture disneyland used is a not very common one. It's not the same as the logo with the wording. I found a realllly small copy of it. To top it off, their picture is fake. They shifted mickey over to the left. I did the same but it's light and blurry because of how small my original was.
Jungle Cruise - I wanted this shot but didn't have the picture for it. Fortunately, while riding it on the 17th I saw my chance as Xfkirsten had her fancy new camera out snapping away so I asked her to take it for me ;).
Nemo - I saw the new wall like the day before I left for Anaheim and said hey, I think I'll be doing that, so snagged it and generated it. ;)
Peoplemover - You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find an image of the peoplemover with the more recent paintjob. It's amazing how many pictures are out there from the old paintjob but not the one we all knew in the age of the internet. This was also a very very small original image.
Hundred Acre Woods - Piglet is very hard to get in because of how faint the pink is. I had to ditch a white background and put something else there so there'd be some differentiation ;) Once again needed a better photo selection for the colors. Wanted to get those 2 characters though.
Words Worth - in order from left to right(Starting from top): rex allen, thurl ravenscroft, paul winchell, sam edwards, paul frees, jack wagner, walt disney. Pete renedout prolly woulda been in it, but he's still alive!
Trolley Gang - Had to get the gang in. There really aren't that many photos out there with mickey donald and goofy together :P Lots of mickey&minnie. Finally remembered to go to disneylandpostcards.com and get one with the oldtime group including my favorite chipmunks =D

Wow. How depressing. I'd recently transfered the folder I kept this whole project in onto my new external hard drive, and my paranoia came back to haunt me. Just this morning I knocked the firewire cord loose and upon plugging it back in, it said the drive was unreadable...I highly doubt it's seriously damaged. The drive wasn't spinning or doing anything when I knocked it loose, but nonetheless, I can't mount it.
I still have...let's see.. the video files though individual stuff that went into making it is gone, I have all the website(and thus smaller versions of the final results), and I have the program I created for this. But I had a whole lot of stuff in the folder that's now gone. A lot. I also lost all my Disney videos from this site and others heh.
Oh well :/ Debating if it's worth it to go and pay for data recovery. I'll probably go and get a price quote at least.
