I have never been on the Columbia sailing ship, I really wanted go on it, but it closes at 4:00 pm. They only sail the ship at weekends: fridays to saturdays. Because every weekend, they must prepare the ship for Fantasmic, like adding extra ropes on it and add laterns.

I want a video of it, so everyone can download it and watch it. I already been on the Mark Twain boat, i also have the video. Can somebody board the ship and record everything on it, including the bottom decks of the ship and the sound of the cannon, when the CM fires it.

RU42 can you record it?

I have a Mark Twain video on this site. I have never put together a Columbia because the view is the same at the Mark Twain - the only difference is the audio.

The only difference?!? The Columbia gets a cannon! yaaaay! =D KABOOM!

RU42 and LevelMaker99, The next time you go to the park could you make a video of the Columbia please? I just love the Columbia and is my favorite use of transportation around the Rivers of America. I really want this badly because the Columbia only operates on certain days. Also because it hosts the Peter Pan segment of Fantasmic I like seeing what Peter and Wendy see and walking in their footsteps.

the best thing about the Mark Twain is you can get choosen to "drive" the boat.
My son was picked to do this a few months back, it was really cool to be up in the wheel house with the pilot and after the trip around the river, he got a certificate declaring him a certified "river's of america pilot", too cool.

(they won't let you drive the columbia, that sucks...)

Actually the last time I went on the Columbia, when some kids rang the ship's bell no one reacted to it, also when I tried the wheel, even though it creaked a bit, the cast member at the controls ignored my actions

The last time I went on the Columbia, the cast member at the controls asked for 2 volunteers and I was chosen. Along with this other boy chosen, we had to SWAB THE DECK!!!!

I have some video of the Columbia, taken this past June. It is not the complete ride, though. There is good video of the cannon being shot, though, and you can clearly hear the music.
