I have asked visionsfantastic so many times for a Block Party Bash video. It isnt that hard. all they have to do is stand back faced to the golden gat bridge and look at the sun icon and film there. everyone says by standing there you get a good view of everything. For some reason they wont film a video. I dont know if its just me but seeing how that was a promoted addition for the 50th, it should be one of the first things filmed but this site is even filming autopia before they film BPB. its really disappointing me. what do you guys think?

i have a video for BPB but unfortunately its really close up and pretty short, only got a shot of one float that was in my area

It takes time for our videographers to shoot enough footage for them to be happy with. I know RU42 often takes video from many different angles before compiling a final product. Please be patient.

By the way, this belongs in the AV discussion.

Block Party Bash is especially difficult because of the multiple show stops. We know a lot of you want this parade, please give us some time.

yeah i would come out soon, i have asked ru42 if he had a multi shot for POD and he is working on that now, so thats the video he is working on so he will have to finish and then start with a multi shot of BPB, its pretty hard to get every show stop, you have to watch it everyday you were there and sit in a diffrent spot

its hard if u think about it

Patience.

Parade of Dreams is really tough with all the floats. Even a single view of PoD isn't too bad because it is a Parade. You will eventually see all floats.

BPB is extremely different. You really need to see each section in order to get the best feel for the parade. I will get to BPB sometime before the summer ends.

if you guys are so desperate, i've found 2 from different people that are full length. They aren't that great of quality but if you want them let me know. I'm not sure if it would be "legal" for me to give you someone else's video footage

1) http://dlrfanatic.tripod.com/

go down to where it says "Right-Click and Save for the Block Party Bash video! ". Do that, and it will download.

2) Uhh I lost the other link, but I'll find it soon, enjoy ;)

Ohhhhh, a Block Party Bash Parade video would be awesome, I can't wait to see what you all come up with !!! We have a video of the Bugs Life stop from our trip & I just got a DVD from a guy who had the Monsters, Inc stop but I'm dying to see the Toy Story stop because this is my favorite of the 3 & a favorite of my 4 yr old. We only got one chance to see the parade on our visit & didn't know who & where the float stops would be, so we found a spot & had a great time, but would definately would have loved to see the Toy Story gang !!

To those of you that actually put the videos on this site......THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU !!! Just felt you needed to hear that....lol It's great to be able to enjoy these even when we're not able to be there !! :p

O.K. here is the second one. It's a direct link. Oh, again, these aren't my videos.

[link removed]

ADMIN EDIT: Please don't hot-link directly to somebody else's materials. Please find an appropriate HTML page to link to. Thanks.

Oh, and I just want to make a comment, because this show does have so many stops and different things to look at, in both videos you can get a real good idea of the show. Don't feel as if your missing something, what you see is basically it. So if you haven't seen it yet in person, you'll get a god idea of what the show really is.

Here is the link for the page containing the video which was hotlinked.

It's a very good multi-shot video I have to say. Really gets it all in there. Kudos to the filmer.

And actually...if you go to the page from his visits that week I guess, it has a video for Parade of Dreams and Remember as well.

oh for anyone wondering, in the first video, at the beginning it might look kind of weird that the dancers are coming in with no music playing, that's because the filmer took the shot at the second show stop. After the first stop, the show continues on until it gets to the next stop.

Your requests haven't fallen on deaf ears at VF. RU42 has a schedule and preference to what he wants to shoot and submit to the site, and part of these decisions are based on his own time schedule and what we can offer each month in terms of bandwidth. The Autopia video submitted by Levelmaker99 wasn't even shot this year. Just because YOU feel that Block Party Bash warrants a change in that schedule doesn't mean everyone else feels the same.

Block Party Bash is significant to the 50th and will be on the site soon, rest assured.

I truly Appreciate your terms, and I only complained for Petern Pan because it wasn't downloadable, but a great thanks to yourself The video is up and running. I really am waiting patiently for the long awaited Multi-shot of Parade of Dreams, I think it will be worth the wait from RU42's hard work and schedule to make this dream into a reality.
