If you were to live in any attraction at DL or DCA, what would it be?

mine DL-Matterhorn DCA-Tower of terror

I can't really think of a ride I would live in, but I would absolutly have an apartment in New Orleans Square. Does that count?

I guess I would live in the castle. Its so cool in there! I just love it! I can be the queen of disneyland!

just living anywhere at disneyland would be great! but a ride would probably be pirates!arghhhh

KIX

an apartment in NOS would be cool. Waking up to some Jazz would be awesome.

hmm, in DCA...it'd be cool to live in the tower of terror, it'd be a nice view of the park...only if weren't freaked out by the whole story of the place.

Well, my absolute first choice would be Walt's apartment over the Firestation! But since that's not technically an attraction, I'd live in Tarzan's Treehouse. I have always loved treehouses and being up high in general. It would be so cool sleeping there at night! The only bad part would be if it rained. Is that place waterproof?

in Dl- i would live in the castle of corse or it would be really cool to stay in the tiki room, to get those dole whips when ever i want!!!! yummy

I would live in one of the apartments in NOS, it would be cool. Waking early in the morning and see the rivers of America.

Living in the Indy temple, might be difficult, because the lights flicker in the quene and it slows down and powers up, then down. The gas powered generator is pretty loud. When the place is turned off, the line will be pitch black.

oooh, a tough one...

Well in Disneyland, I'd like to have a New Orleans Apartment, music 24/7, nice atmosphere, near pirates...

I was about to say Mickey's house, but I remembered that those big comfy looking toon furniture pieces are a lot harder then they appear.

In DCA, I think it would be nice to live in Pacific Wharf, near all the food and the mariachis.

07-20-2005, 12:07 AM
well lets see, I would have to say I would live in The Matterhorn Mountain itself, so that way when I wake up I can have the early bird special of riding both sides of the matterhorn Bobsleds.

I would probably live in the Tower of Terror!

HockeyMouse
07-20-2005, 12:25 AM
I would live in Space Mountain and turn that into my personal hockey rink, then head over to the Indy temple to take my dates out on and then take a shower in splash mountain and then and then go to bed in my casket in the haunted mansion. Then wake up to my matterhorn water splash.

brerbear8
07-20-2005, 01:32 AM
I would live under the infinite stars of Space mountain, somewhere in NOS, or on TSI.

Bobsledder
07-20-2005, 11:05 AM
That's a hard one.

Probably Walt's apt.

but as far as attractions go.. Pirates. No, maybe Swiss family. (before Tarzan) or any Main St. Apt.

Yeah, I would also have to go with Walt's apartment. But seeing as this is about a ride, the Haunted Mansion. Hands down that house has the best features.

Hmmmm, let me think, I would love to live in Star Tours, right inside the Star Speeder 3000, the ones in the Gates, not the one with R2 and 3PO, would sleep in the walk way infront of the first row of seats, then wake up to "Welcome aboard, this is..." you get the picture. lol Second most fav. would be Space Mountain, I would make one of the rockets into a bed and sleep in it, then wake up in the morning to the original soundtrack and having to go through space at top speed to wake me up. XD

The art gallery. Beautiful overlook of NOS from the balcony, perfect place to sit in the morning with my morning coffee with the park still closed. That would be *nice*!

Yeah, I was thinking of that one too, but I didn't want to change it. Now that I am thinking about it, you would have your own little enclosed patio (more private than the Main Street one), have a kitchen next door in Club 33, plus it has like a total of like 4 rooms I think including entrance and such. Good choice.

Hmmmmm..... Oh yeah the Haunted Mansion of course. A big place like that with a complete ballroom, attic and lots of rooms and a complimentary graveyard, who wouldn't wanna stay? But Ramsley would have to be there.

SleepingBucket
07-21-2005, 02:21 PM
I think I'd rather enjoy the Mark Twain Riverboat. There'd be great views of Frontierland, NOS, Critter Country, and Tom Sawyer Island. And you'd never get bored, because your "home" would always be moving! It would also be pretty cool to be a part of the Fantasmic! finale.
It'd also be kind of fun to have your own little sleeper car on the monorail or the disneyland railroad. I could definitely dig that.

superman436
07-21-2005, 02:24 PM
I'm not the biggest fan of TSI... but it might be a pretty sweet place to live. Nice, calm, and lots to see surrounded by the other lands during the day... but at night, you couldn't beat the excitment and adventure of Fantasmic! on your front porch!

Mikokat
07-21-2005, 07:42 PM
I would probably live in Walt's Apartment.

In DCA, I would probably live in the Tower of Terror. Have a Hollywood tower Hotel suite and hear the screams of passengers.

TowerGal_13

Ok, now pick a ride that is gone from the park.
ex: Rocket rods ect.

I would live in a small floating cabin in the swamp area of Pirates. You know, the area that adjoins the Blue Bayou restaurant? It would be so awesome to always have it like a nice twilight evening on the water, with the crickets chirping and whatnot.

brerbear8
07-22-2005, 02:03 AM
My extinct ride house would be the rocket to the moon, or the flying saucers. Talk about sleeping on air!

but at night, you couldn't beat the excitment and adventure of Fantasmic! on your front porch!

I just had this image of someone coming out of the Cabin in the middle of the show, and slapping the dragon on the side exlaiming, "EXCUSE ME...Your sitting on my news paper!" Lol :D .

I think the house of the future would be a cool extint attraction to live in. And highly functional.

I would like to live many places in disneyland. First, in Indiana Jones. I could zap people from behind the huge skull:icon_twis , I'd have plenty of company, and it would be a wonderful place to sleep. Second, I would like to live in the large Snow white castle. I could snipe my enemies from the top and i would have marvelous fireworks views. Third, I'd like to live in the Matterhorn. I could scare people from behind the yeti and i could play basketball (http://www.snopes.com/disney/parks/matterho.asp).

i would like to live on splash mountain or the buzz light year ride, i would feel safe on those if the things were real on there :tongue::wink:

Brer Rabbit
07-23-2005, 01:06 PM
I would love to live in Splash Mountain or in Pirates of the Caribbean. Since brer rabbit's running away from home, i'll take over his house. In pirates, i'll kick out the old man in his little house and take over. Or maybe i'll just move in with Mickey in his house.

brunetteTinkerbell1955
07-23-2005, 02:34 PM
it would be cool to live in innoventions! omg, i would have it made! lol

or goofy's bounce house hehe
but not chip 'n' dales tree house thingy! i can barely fit in there!

07-23-2005, 02:38 PM
I would like to live in the walkthrough portion of the Haunted Mansion and have access to all areas that lead to the balcony, interior catwalks, and grounds of the structure itself. I'd get myself a big cape and hang upside down in the cupola with eerie lighting at midnight. What a great way to meditate and create myth at the same time. Hang-gliding off the roof out over the Rivers of America in a Batman styled suit (like in the latest movie) would be cool. Running around and scaring the guests would be fun too, like they used to do in the HM. Being scared by a guest or two might be fun!

hawkster9542
07-31-2005, 03:21 PM
Definitely either Pirates of the Caribbean or the Haunted Mansion. In the Haunted Mansion, there's a ghostly party every 10 seconds or so. It's my kind of place! ;)

If I was to live in Pirates of the Caribbean, it would most likely be in the Captain's Quarters area, next to the treasure. It has a really nice bed!

I'll definetly live in CLub 33 but since it has to be a ride i'll probably live in POTC because you have the water, the fire and all these other cool things. (the captains room with all the gold!) And in DCA probably the TOT because it's so beautiful (except for the dust...lol) On the up side I wouldn't have to clean it!

The rides that I would like to live in are:
Indiana Jones: I could help Indy hold back the gates of doom
Peter Pan: I could help Peter fight Captain Hook and save Wendy
Haunted Mansion: I could play the organ
Sailing Ship Columbia: I could live on the full scale replica of the first American ship to sail around the globe, live below decks in the Captain's room, and be a cameraman during the Peter Pan segment of Fantasmic!

:icon_lol: Space Mountain.. something about being in a dark place with thousands of stars, lights/laser-type beams flashing across me gives me a tingling feeling inside. I would love to wake up to that every morning. My bed would be one of the rockets and my wake up "alarm" would be the ride starting up going into the new lifts and the I wouldl really wake up when we take off! ... Oh gosh this is a tough question! In Disneyland, I think I would most want to live in an apartment in NOS, exspecially one with a great view of the court of angels! Wouldnt that be beautiful? I would also love to live in the HM, and I would also love to live inside Star Tours! In DCA, I would live in the ToT, and the golden dreams theather, and somewhere inside Soarin', so I could hear that music all the time!

01-15-2006, 04:20 PM
For me, in Disneyland, I would live in one of the submarines is Submarine Voyage. I would have the whistle and submarine sound effects be my alarm clock. Then I would have my daily voyage around the world. Or at The Haunted Mansion because, it's a mansion. I may be mortal, but I could be the 1000 visitor, maybe. I could have the doom buggies take me to my destination. Whether is to the seance room, so I could have my future read, or the graveyard, to visit my relatives. But in Disney's California Adventures, I would live in The Hollywood Tower Hotel. Why, because it's a hotel. I can get room service and have the screams of the people riding the ride be my alarm clock.

I would totally want to live in either Splash Mountain or the Tiki Room at Disneyland! I mean, how could I ever have a bad day when I could just go to my Laughin' Place?! And I just love the atmosphere/music in the Tiki Room.

At DCA, I'd either want to live in the Sun Wheel so that I'd have a nice view of the park or Soarin' Over California so that I could just get the feeling of being really high up.

Space Mountain Mike
01-16-2006, 12:21 AM
I would definitely want a place above main Street or possibly the disneyland castle, but I would want thick acrylic for the windows for soundproofing, AND I would want an elevator to the underground (which Disneyland really has) and stairs that would lead to a nondescript exit (like what you'd see on rooftops of tall buildings) at the corner of Harbor Blvd And Shuttle Entrance so I could just walk out onto the street completely nonchalantThere would be a second pathway to the parking garage where I would have my car, and a third that would be on the other side of harbor by the Ihop.

I would totally get my own house in Splash Mountain! I'd get to wake up, sing and dance with the animals and hitch a ride or two on the logs to get around! Or my own little cabin along side the Disneyland Railroad. I could just hop on in the morning and go wherever. Maybe I could even chill at the Indian Camp.

I would live in Peter Pan in DL because then I would just stop the ride in the middle of flying over London. It would be like sleeping under the stars and it would be warm. Just have to set up some padding in the pirate ship and off you go! Not to mention that if I was living in DL I wouldn't need to worry about it being dark all the time because I wouldn't stay there! I'd be riding the rides all day!

In DCA I would live in Soarin because it would be so cool to sleep in the air like that with the soothing music to fall asleep to. Not to mention how fun it would be to be able to put a movie on that big screen. It would be the ultimate party place!

I would live in Pirates of the Caribbean, hands down.

You have the bayou to relax in, you can boat over to the restaurant for dinner (if the boats weren't on tracks, that is lol), you can cool off in the caves underground on hot days, it has the best music, tons of wonderful atmosphere, and it's the most romantic of the attractions, as well. And when it's time for bed, you just take a wonderful boat ride down to the captain's quarters in the ride, where you can lie in that awesome bed reading a book, or play the harpsichord.

I am, of course, talking about Pirates pre-Johnny Depp.

Pirates has it all!

1)New Orleans Square, I nice little apartment like everyone else,
2)Space Mountain: in the "Mission Control" booth when you're about to go up for "Power Transfer"
3)Innoventions: Inside the Treehouse at the top of the inside of the carousel.
4)Sleeping Beauty Castle: It should have gotten a suite just like Cinderella Castle in WDW. I would love to stay up there and see the wonderful park view every night and wave down to guests.

i always dream about living in disneyland and waking up and having it all to myself. As much as i would like going there with friends, you can always do exactly what you want to do when your by yourself and when you secretely want to go on a ride a hundred times, you can! having the park to myself with it empty would be a dream come true. I would like to live in a little appartment atop the matterhorn. Great views, and its close to the middle of the park. I would live in POTC but the banjo at the beginning would get annoying and i like splash mountain but it would be creepy with those animatronics staring at you. They are somewhat creepy. Maybe i'll live in a teacup or the hut where they operate! yes!

Disneyknight467
01-06-2007, 11:15 PM
^^Lol, if you think living in Splash Mountain would be creepy, think about living in "It's a Small World". That would be mondo creepy! I wouldn't mind living in POTC. I would like to live in the banjo dude's little hut. Just a quick side note but the beginning of POTC reminds me about the swamp area where Tia Dalma lives in the movie POTC Dead Man's Chest.

I would live in Finding Nemo's Submarine Voyage. I am a swimmer and I love the ocean. I don't think I would be able to breathe very well though. But I am learning to hold my breath for extended periods of time for waterpolo. I'm not very far though, maybe a minute and a half.
Disneyknight, the area in the movie was inspired from the ride. It says so on IMDB.

Disneyknight467

Oh yeah I just remembered they added that scene in the movie this time around, but in POTC 1 it was never put in the film and left for Deleted Scenes because I checked them out in the special features of the 2 disc special edition of POTC : Curse of the Black Pearl, oh and I want to say I wouldn't mind living in a hotel room in TOT...I just hope I don't get sent to the twilight zone...I'll take the stairs thanks!

I would live in the apartment, where Walt and his family used to stay when they were in Disneyland, that's on top of the fire station in Main Street U.S.A.. I would also live in The Haunted Mansion because they have room for one more. So, why not? However, I'll ask the Ghost Host if I can stay mortal. Also, I get a graveyard at the side of the house.
