Site registrations soar - WTG VF!

VF now has almost 3,500 members and they are coming in droves! Doesn't seem like too long ago I was congratulating VF on something like 300 members. Nice work to everyone getting the word out about this site. Most of all, big props to all who work hard on actually building & maintaining the site. From Chris & Brett the terrific webmasters, RU42 making the awesome videos, all the great board mods we have - everyone here deserves their place in the sun. So all you guys, pat yourselves on the back today, for we have something special here. :biggrin: Feel free to post your appreciations to the site & the site's staff if you wish. :cool:

That would be really cool. VF is the coolest disney sites I have found. Including the real disneyland site.

I had gone on the net to look up videos of DL rides and the first on the search list was Disneyland Source. Well that was my first time on a discussion board and since then this has been the only discussion board I have been a part of. I fell in love with the site from the begining and have had no reason to venture elsewhere. You guys do a fantastic job with the site, all of you make it a special place to visit, chat, read, listen and watch everything this site has to offer. Heck, even learn something we didn't know. The site design is great, the colr is very easy on the eyes. It was a pleasure meeting some of you on the 17th and look forward to more meets for more fun. Thanks for all your hard work.

Yeah. I was searching for somthing about the submarine voyage was it? anyway, it took me to disneylandsource.com and it was closed. "Oh well," I thought, but then I saw that you had a second site, clicked on it and was there a while. The first thing I downloaded was the Submarine Voyage video. I downloaded some more, and now I have this folder with a map of Disneyland on the background and folders containing videos of all the rides for that land. :icon_lol:

I haven't been a member for that long, but I remember wishing that there would be more than 19 people online at a time. Now it's up to 103. Unfortunately I wasn't part of that 103, but props to those who were.

Thanks for making THE BEST Disneyland site out there.:icon_excl Ive been visiting the site from when it was Disneyland Source and its the only place Ive found where you can actually watch on-ride videos of Disney attractions. So, once again, a big thanks to everyone who made this possible.

Congrats to the moderators and administrators for making VF so wonderful. There are so many members now. I liked VF better when it was a small, tight-knit community of Disney lovers. The new members are decreasing the uniqueness of VF. It's becoming too much like MiceChat.

Although that number seems impressive, be aware that people can't really even browse VF anymore without a username and password. Micechat can be browsed by anyone. Needless to say, a couple THOUSAND people on VF rarely return or visit with any kind of regularity.

Theres no other disneyland site i'd rather be then this place, its the best disneyland site i've known since like... ever, im glad to be part of the magic of this site with you guys. We're here because we all love the same place, a place where we all grew up knowing it was fun and safe, a place where we admire its beauty and structure, a place where we just know we'll have fun no matter what, a place where we find that special someone for some of us,:biggrin: its amazing how one person that created such a place can make so many ppl happy, I bet hes smiling down on everyone that enjoys his dream, im glad im part of it, im glad I was able to experience the magic when I was a child, im glad I was able to meet such hard working ppl to make such a great website for Disneyland.

The most ever online went up to 133 and for the first time ever, I was actually online too.

For those of you who are curious, we dropped our membership count by about 1200 users who had never confirmed their accounts. Hopefully they will sign up again and confirm their accounts. In most cases they were using emails that were either non-existant or they were using anti-spam controls which were blocking the email.

The software continued sending reminder emails to these 1200 users, and in the interest of keeping site resources in check, they were deleted from the system.

VF/Disneyland Source was the second Disneyland website I ever saw, after Disneyland.com. I think I got hooked on Disneyland from VF! :)
