I was at Disneyland on the accual 50th day, and we asked a castmember where to see Remember, Dreams Come True. He said go in between the carosel and Dumbo. But we didnt know all the cool stuff was happening in front of the castle. I have RU42's video, but are they still showing the show? I havent gone since the 50th and I know im going soon, so...

It'll be showing for a long time... make sure you watch it, but this time from in front of the castle on Main St. That spot also makes for better viewing of a certain few parts...

The fireworks show was not specific to July 17, 2005, but the same show that will be seen during the celebration until the end of summer in 2007. I don't know about the fall and winter season, usually if there are fireworks it is only on weekends, except during holiday periods.

You may not have known, but the CM surely did, and he still told you to go there? No, the people who have seen the show before (like CMs) should all be able to tell you the best place to see it is in the hub if you can. If that's full then be on Main Street, Tomorrowland entrance, along the sides of the hub, the closest you can possibly get to it. Sorry if you missed out on stuff because of that, you'll know better next time! :old_wink:
Yes they are still showing Remember...Dreams Come True nightly @ 9:25pm and should continue it non-stop through next November when the 50th Anniversary celebration will have ran its course. The holiday parade is going to DCA for this holiday season, but we don't know how the fireworks snow scene is going to work with Remember. Have heard no word on a holiday version of Remember, but we can't really envision a holiday season w/o snow @ Disneyland either.

I watched the firework show on Saturday night. We were sitting right in front of the stage that had been put up for Sunday's festivities. Anyway, I was talking to one of the CM's there and he said that right now, there is no plan on changing the show for the holidays. One of the reasons they're moving the Christmas parade over to DCA is so they can continue with the Parade of Dreams through the holidays. So from what he said, they're NOT planning on taking down all the 50th decorations. Christmas will arrive in Disneyland in the form of allot of 50th logos all over the place... 50 of them to be exact...

Being behind the castle and all, did the lighting do its cool patterns on the backside of the castle as well?? That is one thing I have really been curious to know, but obviously can't see if I'm watching the show from the front of the castle..:icon_lol:

I haven't really looked but I doubt it. There are special projectors camouflaged as little square columns w/ flat concrete tops. Without them they look like little R2D2's. Pictured below, they project those images onto the castle. That was taken on April 30th before they were covered up. I don't think they are there behind the castle, but like I said I never really looked for them there before.

There are already 50 of the Tri-Circle 50 logos already in place.
Instead of the regular Mickey Mouse ornaments, maybe they will be all gold with the 50 log...so instead of 50 there will 50,000 of them all over DL.

we're planning on watching RDCT every night. We want to definitely get great seats in the hub. So how early should we get there? I was thinking like, 8:30? Earlier? And another night we want to view it from IASW...same thing? Earlier? Whenever we've gone to see a parade or fireworks show we always get there about a half hour but...we havent experienced the 50th crowds. Thanks!

if the day is busy you might want to get a spot 2-3 hours prior to the start of the fireworks. I have seen people who want the benches staked out 4-5 hours prior. as for the IASW viewing, you can get good spots a lot closer to the start time.

I was just there a week ago and I got my seats at about 7:00 PM. But I needed 12 seats. If it is just you, then 8:30 should be fine.

protostars, I haven't seen them from IASW yet, but I'd really like to. Is there anything special they do with projections and stuff on IASW?
