YES!!!! I love Jasmine even though I have yet to ever see her in the park, so most of the time I make do with Tinkerbell....which is not at all dissappointing. I'm also a pretty big fan of Ariel, who doesn't love a red head?

Mine would have to be Simba, just because his life and mine parallel each other so much. I know all too well the sorrows of tragedy in one's childhood. No my father wasn't killed by my uncle but, someone I did hold very dear to me was lost when I was 9 & I forever carry around the #28 in his memory. Also I know the pain of being something of an outcast in my early days and thinking your life is in utter despair. I just hope one day I can rise & triumph over it all as well. Next time you watch it, take note of when Simba climbs Pride Rock at the end in the rain and as he's walking up he sees a skull being washed away by the rain. Almost no one catches it but there's some deep deep symbolism there. Anyways yeah, Simba rocks.

My favorite characters are Brer Bear and Brer Fox. Why? Look at my avitar picture. I have another picture of Brer Bear and I (not quite as cute) during the same trip. This was before I even knew what the Brers were and WAY before I was tall enough to even ride Splash Mountain. Ever since, I have loved these two characters most.

Well, I think you would all call me crazy if I didn't say Donald Duck. Yes, he in fact, RULES!

I like that he is feisty. He is also the most sympathetic character. He never wins, he never gets his way, and he always screws everything up. Have you seen Mickey's Philhamagic (I wish it would come to Disneyland)? I love that Donald is the main character in that and I was thrilled when he was in the new 50th tribute with Steve Martin.

BTW, my second favorite is the Wicked Queen.

I don't think roger rabbit is a Disney character. Is He?Yep. Disney was in charge of Who Framed Roger Rabbit? In order to get Warner Bros., MGM and a few other studios to lend their classic toon characters, Disney had to agree not to release it with the name Walt Disney plastered all over it. Disney agreed not to brand Who Framed Roger Rabit? as a Walt Disney product for 10 years. That's what makes everyone confused.

For a cut of the profits, Disney arranged for Steven Speilburg to handle all the negotiations under the guise of his own production company, Amblin Entertainment. This worked well because while Disney is the 800 lbs gorilla, Speilburg was the darling of Hollywood at the time ...the guy everybody wanted to sign. That's why the theatrical release was branded as Amblin Entertainment and released through Touchstone Pictures, a Disney subsidiary. The first video release said Steven Speilburg and Toucstone Pictures presents also.

There were all sorts of tough negotiations on that picture. It's amazing that they were able to do it at all. For example Bugs Bunny had to have an equal or better number of lines than Mickey Mouse. Daffy had to have an equal or better number of lines than Donald Duck. A few of the others wouldn't budge at all... Paramount would not allow the use of Otto Messmer's Felix the Cat for example.
Maybe Paramount was still bitter about DragonSlayer ? I dunno...

My favorite character has to be Stitch! First of all, he's SO freaking adorable! Secondly, I think it was great how he went from nothing to finding a true purpose in his life. Plus, he's an amazing companion to Lilo. Wow, it just sounds like I'm jealous of Lilo! :tongue:

I've just decided that my all-time favorite Disneyland character is Wendy from Peter Pan. I like her because she is a wonderful and caring girl. Her voice sounds so beautiful, her face is pretty and her dress is gorgeous. I now think of Wendy as not just my favorite character, but as my Juliet. When I see her in the park next time, I'm gonna give her a long hug.

Maleficent!!!! haha... big suprise! I just think that she is a great twist to villans. I have liked her from the beggining. Just the way she speaks and moves... I think it is regal, and it commands attention. I think alot of it has to do with Eleanor Audley though. I think she has to be the greatest voice actress to ever grace the Disney movies....
