I know there has been alot of talk about what is going to happen to DCA after the 50th and how it needs a new e-ticket attraction. Well according to Al Luntz there might be another Pixar attraction at DCA. it is a great update it has alot of info on the submarines and what Disney has planned for the resort. Check it out...

Wow. That's a big article but good reading. Thanks for the link. Personally I really liked DCA when I went in 2002 and anything they do to improve it is fine by me.

Al Lutz's articles are pretty reliable. But this kinda scares me. Peoplemover Matt posted in off topic the question of whether or not there was too much Pixar theming going on. And now they're ride planning a movie that's not even out yet? Scary. Maybe this is a ll part of Iger's renewed Pixar talks...
if they want to pull that off they should make the cars ride sort of like star tours with you racing against other people in the park.that will be really cooldont you think.

Lutz' latest article just described a project that's in the works & could be submitted for approval. Nothing official or anything about it, just an interesting idea. Personally it being a cool ride idea doesn't forgive that it's based on a Pixar movie, AGAIN!  Good grief just tear out the C-Pixar Parade's Giant Advertising Cone-L-I-F-O-R-N-I-A in the esplanade and put a giant P-I-X-A-R in and get it over with....

there is a new DCA E Ticket currently making its way through the intense budgetary approval process From what the article says it look like it has already been submitted for approval, how long it take WDI to start construction is a different story...I agree with Matt though...DCA does not need another Pixar themed attraction...I really think they need to reconsider that one...other than that I thought the article was good I am looking forward to the Subs coming back and also intrested in what Disney is going to do with Hollywood Pictures Backlot.

What is this world coming too? We need an original e-ticket at DLR not something another park has or is planning on getting...

Personally, i like the idea of a cars/test drive type attraction at DCA and hey, maybe it'll put a few more people into the park. I mean, it is kinda sad that DCA isnt getting the attention that it deserves and i think one of the only ways to do it is to put more recent pixar attractions in there after all, the whole place is pixar anyways (notice the major additions and refurbs going on ONLY in the hollywood backlot). and hey, at least its not in the original DL.....

^ You guys aren't the first people to come to this realization. Feel free to contribute to the "Too much Pixar?" thread here: http://www.visionsfantastic.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2533
I also worry greatly about plans to clone a ride before it even exists or has even begun construction. :icon_roll

I don't think there should be a ride based on Cars, I'm a huge Pixar fan, but I'm sick of Disneyland turning in Disney presents Pixarland. I think if there is any type of car ride that goes into DCA, it should be test track.
