I cannot believe the London terrorist attacks occurred. A doube decker bus blown in half along with a few subway bombings. People are dead and injured due to hatred. What is this world coming to (It probablyt always was this way.) Al Queda's Jihad (European Division) admitted to it. They are very cruel, but who's to say our nation isn't? They also threatened to attack Italy and Denmark unless they withdraw troops from Iraq.

Let me step in briefly here...

Insults to people or races will get this thread closed (it hasn't happened yet, this is just preventative.) The discussion of world events is fine...but if it disintegrates it will be closed.

So, this is the price of freedom.
Sigh. In our prayers.

Stay strong, Brits! We're right beside you!

I hope everyone uses this to remember just who exactly our troops are fighting in the war on terror. The innocent victims and their families are in our prayers tonight. I think I shall make an extra trip to Disneyland soon just to show these whacked-out extremists that they aren't going to intimidate me out of anything!

Hear, hear! But more like God Bless the Nations of the World fighting this sort of terrorism. I think it's despicable to attack civilians when nonviolent political action is just as strong.

They (the members of Al Queda) are control freaks if you think about it. They want to control our way of life and paralyze our economy completely.

I agree. They could make their views known through music, comedy, movies, plays, talk shows and whtever else. Violence only causes more violence. But maybe that is what they want, kinda like a dramma queen has to always have dramma to be satisfied. Who knows. Either way, I do agree that we should pull out of their country. Also I think it should be God Bless the World not America, it sounds to arrogant that way.

Do we know for sure that it was the Al Queda yet? I haven't really heard yet. I just don't get why people have to blow up other people. Really, what do they get for it?

Some sort of sick demented pleasure?

Do we know for sure that it was the Al Queda yet?

All the attacks have patterns of Al Qaeda attacks, and an AQ blog or something claimed responsibility, declaring Rome would be next. To which Italy took the exactly wrong action, which was pledging removal of its troops from Iraq.

Why does it always seem that we can count on our fingers the great peace makers who changed the world for generations through peaceful civil disobedience, eloquence, and grace, but there seem to be hundreds willing to blow themselves up and change nothing?

Honestly, and on all sides, does this help anyone?:frown:

Stay strong London, we are still with you.

It was comforting to see the anaheim PD with the bomb dogs the very next day - (and still...) at the main entrance to the parks...it's a sad state though when even the happiest place needs the extra security due to extremist.

Disneyland should be one of the first with all the extra & best security that's out there! As I recall the skies over Disneyland were deemed a restricted air space in the months after 9/11. Can you imagine if some islama-facist nutcase went & blew himself up in the Hub shortly before Remember started? It's almost too horrible to think about.
