I read that tonight they will be adding a 6 minute patriotic finale to Remember Dreams Come true. Anyone willing to film it and post it on the web? I know the crowds will be horrible today, but if anyone will be there, take along a video camera ;)

I have a feeling your wish might come true. That would be sweet.

Do you? Do you really have a feeling?
If someone recorded it I would be happy to transfer it to a digital format. Unfortunately I was out of town and missed it.

Hi all! This may be my 1st post, but don't get me wrong...I'm not really all that new here. I just didn't post a lot with my old sn and forgot completely what it was, so here I am!
Anyways, I also would like to see video of the July 4th finale. It looks huge from the few pictures I've seen of it online. Quite contrary to the "Environmentally Friendly" finale last year.

If you're the same Evan that's on MI (which I'm guessing you are  ), then look at the July 4th Fireworks thread on the MI boards and there should be a link to some pictures. They're not a lot, but they show just how huge the show was compared to recent years.

I'm planning to convert the 4th of July video (wich in fact, I'm doing right now), so I'll upload it when it's ready, It will be both parts, RDCTrue + The 4th of July Fireworks.

Luis - if I can make a suggestion. Maybe only the special addition to the show is what is needed. There are 2 vids on this site of RDCT; a single angle and a multi edit. (Not that I have a problem with more then 2 video; I am just trying to look out for the bandwidth usage of the site.)
To save on bandwidth I would really like to see the 4th salute. Or maybe you could create 2 vids; one of Remember and one of the 4th Special - then people can only download one segment if they so desire.
Just a thought.

ok, i'll do that, no prob, do I upload it to a 'special' host or MegaUpload Is Ok?? and do you want MPEG-4, MPEG-2 or WMV??
WMV is the encode of choice for this site. Keep it small. Chris will have to PM you upload information. I am not exactly sure how he is handling new uploads in VF 2.0

this site uses WMV extensively... lately they've been going wmv3 especially(i guess i'm basing this off of ru42's videos heh).
Pop it into h.264 and get everyone to update their codecs ;).
