Has anyone ever been to Alaska? I just got back from spending ten days there- ten of the best days of my year! Alaska is AMAZING! We went to fish for salmon in the Kenai peninsula, but also played tourist, hopping on a wildlife/ glacier harbor cruise and a glacier raft ride. If you haven't ever been to Alaska, start saving your pennies! It really was that great.

I'd love to go to Alaska sometime! I'm dying to get a good look at the killer whale population up there. :)

That's one of the top places my wife and I want to visit. A nice long 14 day cruise would be great!

The movie White Fang made me want to go to Alaska. I don't think anything else has since. ;)

I heard the cruises that go there are some of the best in North America. I've wanted to do one a them for a while now.

Never made it that far north- stayed on the Kenai Peninsula. But the thought definitely crossed our minds!

On the harbor cruise we saw many a humpback, but no orca. One humpack put on quite an impressive show for us- one to even rival Sea World! He (or she) was breaching- about five or six times! Then he was floating and slapping his fins on the water- all pretty close to the boat! That was so amazing.

I don't think Alaska would be my thing. My grandparents went there on a Princess cruise and loved it though. I love the cold weather, but I don't see much there to do besides national parks. I would hate going on a cruise because ur stuck on a boat for too long.
