I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase the music played on the site. I have the Disneyland resort sound track. But I'd like to purchase more of the music that is played as BG music around both the parks. Thank you!

I don't know where to find the BG music, but the 6 disc History of DL CD's are really good, from what I have been told. It is a bit expensive, but worth it.

Much material, from Disney's California Adventure, is available from third parties, as opposed to Disney. For instance, all of the Condor Flats area music is available from one third party source or another: "Parachutes" is available from the Air Force One soundtrack, "Pops on the March" is available from the Boston Pops Orchestra, etc.

VF's own xkfirsten had/has a website (disneymusicloops.com) that listed many of the songs used in BGM loops so if you wanted to purchase songs to build your own legal versions of the loops, her site is/was a great reference to build your shopping list.

You can buy the 6 disc set for about $50. Look on ebay or go to Best Buy.

I'm actually thinking about buying the 6 disc set myself. If anyone here has it, maybe they could answer a few questions for me. Does it have the same RDCT show played on VF radio? Also, does it have any ride thrus? If so, which ones?

Because it's been out for quite a while, there's a ton of info about the "A Musical History of Disneyland" CD set on the internet starting with:
Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000AA4MHM/disney-20/), Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Musical_History_of_Disneyland), or Google (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22A+Musical+History+of+Disneyland%22&btnG=Search)
Those who run VF Radio can answer questions about that.

The Musical History of Disneyland is awesome and totally worth the money! I have not heard the VF radio version; however, there is only one version of the song so I am assuming that it would have to be the same.
Ride throughs:
