Parade of Dreams to WDW

Yes, it's been rumored (and even confirmed on Mice Chat) that the wonderful Parade of Dreams is going to be coming to the Magic Kingdom sometime this Christmas. The rumor/bulletin says that the PoD will be making it's last run before the ACF Parade, and then will be shipped here to WDW. I personally think they should find a way to mix the PoD with the DDCT music.

Anyone want to confirm? Any thoughts? I think that it's pretty cool! :biggrin:

WDW has BPB. WHAT MORE COULD THEY WANT!!? Taking 2 50TH EXCLUSIVE PARADES is not what I call "Magical".
Soon WDW will have 30 parades per day and all we will have is the grand marshall pre-parade.

This upsets me as well but look at the bright side, the Floridians will have a wonderful parade that they can enjoy. We have enjoyed it, and now it's time to share it with other members of the Disney family. :smile:

Well it could be like the Electrical Parade and go to the international Disney Parks.

This was confirmed about 2 months ago when executives came from WDW to Dland and agreed to buy off POD. POD will be leaving in November as a new a parade (rumored to be call World of Wonder) will debut after A Christmas Fantasy next year.

That's really upsetting because I never seen it. I guess I should include it strictly in my plans this upcoming trip I'm having.

I think it's a good thing. I just don't want all those ugly lighting towers to pop up all over Frontierland, Liberty Square, and Main Street.

I really wanted to go to DL to see BPB and the PoD, but now I guess I'll have to go to WDW again. :]

From what I hear about parades, Stars & Motor Cars is leaving, as well as Spectro magic. Stars & motor cars is either going to paris or hong kong, and spectromagic would be going to Disneyland. We, in WDW would be getting the main Street Electrical Parade back. Man, I still remember when the electrical parade left about eight years ago and being so excited that spectromagic, the parade which I grew up with, would be coming back.

Latest word on when Parade of Dreams is leaving rumor is that it has actually been pushed back to next summer. We shall see.

If they don't change the float (at least the name), the GTDs float would be a little akward to use "disney fans." I think they should redo the opening float, changing the staion and park name.

as much as i love the parade, im glad that the floridians will be able to enjoy it as much as we have. :]
