Hi! I'm planning a trip to WDW this year (first time!) and I'm trying to choose btwn. Pop Century and All Star Movies Resort. I like both hotel's themes equally. I would like to hear anyone's opinion on either of these two, esp. if you have been to both of them (comparison). I am mostly wondering which of the 2 has better upkeep, cleanliness and... most importantly, better transportation. How long is the bus ride to each theme park from Pop Century? And from All Star Movies? Who has more efficient transport?
Thanks for allt he help.

Personally, I love Pop. I haven't stayed at All Star Movies but Pop seems like the most logical place to stay. In terms of upkeep and cleanliness, they should be the exact same. I know that Pop was very clean and they sprayed the outside down every night. As far as transportation goes, Pop is more centrally located and therefore closer to the parks. All Stars is a little farther out of the way.

If you're going to do an All-Star, I'd suggest All-Star Sports. It's the first All-Star Resort the buses stop at, so you're never sitting at Movies or Music wondering if a bus came but loaded up full at Sports and turned around (which DOES happen!).
From what I saw, none of the value resorts had a problem with upkeep and cleanliness, but it was a slow point during the year. What happens when the Resorts are packed full of people, well, shouldn't be much of a surprise.
