I saw the poster yesterday at the movie theatre, making me wondering how it'll be. Now, after watching the trailer, I want to see it really badly.
Sincerely, a brother of a half-demon,

This book far surpassed The Lion, Witch & Wardrobe in my humble opinion. The trailer looks amazing, I cannot wait to see it!
Although it does seem to me that Caspian should be younger....but since we barely see him, he could be younger than he looks.

^Althought Caspian wasn't my favorite book in the series, I agree that it was a much better fleshed out story. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was very simplistically written, but for me as others, it was the first doorway to Narnia (This is not to open the Great Debate about the order of the books). Thus that book holds a special place in my heart.
It seems that when Mr. Lewis decided to write more about Narnia, he went to greater detail and depth in building the characters and world. Voyage of the Dawn Treader and Silver Chair are two of my favorites and can't wait to see them.
What makes Prince Caspian important, is that other than Aslan, he is the single most important Narnian character that we meet (As opposed to English characters). He is dominant in most of the other stories, and it seems he is a bit of a King Davidish character for Narnia. His children are the rest of the lineage of Kings in Narnia, so Prince Caspian is a pivotal story.

The trailer looked great! I love the CG in it too. Can't wait to see the film. I am really glad these books are finally being made into movies with a good budget. They were made before but by an English company for the BBC. I own them on DVD. Unfortunately they never made all 7 books into movies.

^I agree Executioner. I have seen the BBC versions and there was an animated version of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe many years ago. None of them were that great, but this series is shaping up nicely.

I loved the cartoon version. A side note on this topic... Warwick Davis (Wicket, and Willow) was also in the older BBC live action Narnia movies as a few different characters.
The first thing I thought of when Lord of the Rings came out was that they need tomake ones for Narnia. And they have! I am so happy.
