Question about Orlando and WrestleMania XXIV

I was thinking about going to Walt Disney World during either March or April. But WrestleMania XXIV is schduled on March 30, 2008. Will that affect the crowds at Walt Disney World? Will that increase my chances of seeing a wrestler there?:biggrin:

I honestly don't know. I think it might be a bad time to go because loads of people are heading over there and, possibly think, go to Walt Disney World Resort. I'm not too sure, again.

It would'nt suprise me if many Wrestling fans hit WDW, but I don't know about the wrestlers. By the way, your lucky for going to wrestlemania. I know you'll have fun. I was fortunate to be in attendence for Wrestlemania 21 at the Staples Center.

Well the tickets are pretty expensive. I'm thinking about the USO package thing. Plus, there's about room for 60,000-70,000 and only 41,000 people have bought their tickets (but now that Jericho's back). So, I'm thinking about it.

Plus, I can't imagine the Great Khali and Big Daddy V riding something like Space Mountain.:biggrin:

Yeah, I had to buy my tickets for WM21 through a ticket broker. They were expensive!

And yeah! Khali and Big Daddy V would probably make the track buckle and break if those two [I]behemoths[I] got on any roller coaster.

Unless everyone who goes to Wrestlemania also goes to WDW, it won't affect you all that much. The only way WDW would be affected is if one of the related events of the weekend, FanFest or some other one, is at some WDW property like Wide World of Sports or one of the hotels.

What WILL affect the crowds at WDW that time of year is Spring Break. Many off-property and WDW Value Resorts receive numerous complaints of rowdy hotel guests who can't sleep or are otherwise bothered by the antics of spring break'ers that usually last well into the night.

^Cosign.....Right after the week between Christmas and New Year's comes Spring Break as the busiest time of the year.......And they get very rowdy.

A long long time ago, they used to sponsor WWF at the Disney MGM Studios, there was even a wrestling ring set up right at the entrance plaza to the park.

There were some bad jokes about the wrestling ring after the WWF thing ended.

i highly doubt you will see a wrestler there because they have monday night raw the next night. it might make the parks more crowded though.
