What if the fantastic TV show Mission Impossible had its own ride?

I,for one, think that it should be some kind of roller coaster. It can be whizzing past bright lights, some simulated explosions and of coarse the theme song would be pumping throughout the whole thing

Thoughts?

That'd be really cool! And I think YOU should make it!

What about a coaster underwater and you will be in special leak proof tubes

until the leak proof tubes suddenly leak.

..... or pop!

Undrewater tubes would be sweet. But over the weekend I imagined it this way.

The pre-show and queue would be inside of a building called "Valdin Systems" or something sinister sounding. While waiting in line, a voice would come over an intercom saying a message similar to the "Mission Imposible" show. For example,

"Good morning agents. You are now standing outside of Valdin systems, a government facility known for housing the latest in new robotic technology for the U.S. However our intel has shown that rogue agents are manufactering a vile comprised of a highly chemical compound that could result in dangerous consequences if released. Your mission, should you decide to except it, is to take the vile and shut down the company. This tape will self-destruct in 5 seconds. Good luck.

The pre-show could also consist of what kind of robotics this company uses. Like security bots and gun turrets. Also in the pre-show, the ride vehicles could be described as "new age trasport technology", even though they would look like run of the mill coasters to you and I, "specializing in ways of how to speed out of a situation."

Once on the ride, we begin an incline toward the vile which is on a pedistle. But we get to close and set of an alarm. When our incline flattens out, we see lasers criss-crossing in front of the vile making it that much harder to reach.we turn toward another incline, this one taller. A voice over head spouts "intruder alert, gun turret system activated" at which point at the top of our incline a gun turret would lower and aim for our train! But last minute we dip under it, and to the tune of the theme song, we zip past all their robotic sytems and security measures through a bunch of hair pin turns and major dips.

The ride would end by our train coming to a stop on some straight away track. Ahead would be darkness. We then hear the voice of the man who delivered our queue messsge in the pre-show saying "we have the vile, now destroy the lab" at which point, a la California Screamin', we accelerate through the darkness, which now lights up orange and red while strobe and smoke machines billow throughout and we can hear explosion sounds as we exit the show building for a moment, then hit a downward bank right back into it and back into the loading station.

Ta-da!

I've made an under water ride with tubes like that before.

Thank you kindly, spaceventure!

I was wondering though, what I can put in the middle. I got the start and finnish, but the middle was vague. I mean, I just put "robotic and security systems."

Any suggestions?

I don't know about this idea, it does not seem like the Mission Impossible movies, it is a cheesed down version if you ask me. I think it would be better if we ditched the robotics and what not and added some elevator falls, restaurant floods and so on.

Have you ever seen the movie ??? doesn't seem like it

IndyJonesfan#1, I think it's a great idea. You should try to construct it on RollerCoaster Tycoon 3.

INDYJo4evr, about your post from before, it's only an idea. No one was referring about having this idea for a Disney park.

Sincerely, a brother of a half-demon,

Well actually, the show was from like 76, 78 im 16, and i watch these all the time. I have all the DVD'S and so what if the movies have special effects, the storyline is still much better. And btw this is in the Rollercoaster Simulation, for what reason would Disney have a Mission impossible ride in the parks? Sure Indy, and Star Tours, but thats a special case. Mission Impossible movies are not, and most likely never will be as popular as Indiana Jones, and Star Wars.

Right. But with a famous TV show as it's basis, it would be cool if it popped up somewhere. Not necessarily DL

I think that the movie would be better, I have no idea why you are making this a big deal, all I was doing was voicing my opinion.
