Okay, so let's try this. You may have noticed my other thread about Space Mountain Millenium. I know, "it's another sad attempt at my own Space Mountain!" Even though I'm new to VF, I've been doing Space Mountain recreations and all these kinds of things for a long time, so I know what I'm talking about. But actually, I've been working on the story and ride elements and queue for over a year, and I think I'm ready to build. But I need some input, and some costum scenery. If any of you are willing to make custom scenery for SMM, I'd very very very very very very very very very much appreciate it!VERY VERY MUCH APPRECIATE IT! Okay, sorry. Anyway, I have been spending a year filling my mind to the brim of what makes a true Space Mountain, so please help.

Okay, here it is.

Ecstasy Kingdom, which has been my remake, if you will, of a Magic Kingdom, begins with Ecstacy Square, which leads to Serenity Gardens, which transitions into the landmark (weenie). After passing through, a huge, panoramic lake is viewed from a high viewpoint. After going down steps, to your left is Magma Island, Minerville, and Port Duncan. To your right is the Enchanted Domininion, Topaz Lagoon, and Starscape Concourse. As of now, push everything out of your head except Starscape Concourse. This is where Space Mountain Millenium is, on the "coastline" of the land, facing the lake. A sign would greet you with the slogan, "Space Travel of the Next Millenium". As guests travel inside, they pass the entrance for Millenium Space Grill, a table service restaurant rotating inside the ride. They ascend a ramp that, when they reach the top, views the lake. Signs on the inside wall show familiar images from original Space Mountains which transform (think futuristic Haunted Mansion Portait Hallway) into new, SMM images. A series of swithbacks are walked while hearing Space Mountain Concourse music (we're still inside). Suddenly, the guests find themselves in a dark room lit by dim, green recess lighting. The cast member takes fastpasses and the queue comes together into one. The guests are now hearing "Here's to the Future- And You" mixed with the launch preparation as they decend into a nearly all-mirrored corridor. The TDL New Space Mountain station light effect (on a smaller scale) is seen here. After turning a corner, the guests walk the top of the loading area where they see the FX-1, now enhanced with the TDL station bubble swirling effect instead of the orange, is seen with glimpses of rockets doing a helix around it. Remember, this isn't in space, but in a really dark part at the top of the station. Now, guests are decending through a second series of switchbacks that allign with the rotating Millenium Space Grill. The loading area is seen from here. Upon arriving at the station, guests wait under a dark, metal canopy (used to circulate the sound of the safety spiel). The rocket arrives, and you get ready for your flight.

We'll leave it at that for now.

So, what do you think? Please, I don't want feedback about "I don't think SMM is a good idea." ;) I just want to know what can be done to give it a little help. FIRE AWAY!

well, I *kind of* like the idea, but I'm not really feeling it... maybe a few pics would help out?

I know what you mean. I felt stupid starting SMM, but by now I think I'm ready. I'll try to get some pics up.
