I used to be able to listen to VF radio & really loved it, but have recently had problems connecting both from work & home. I'm relatively technically challenged, so I'm not sure what happened. It just didn't work one day. Any suggestions on what I could try? I really miss my VF! Radio.:icon_ques

The URL for VF Radio has changed since the server switch. Go to the following URL and your default player should open VF Radio. We highly recommend WINAMP (www.winamp.com).

I am using the buttons on the homepage. I'm assuming this is the correct URL. Is there something else I should be checking? Thanks for your help.

What player are you trying to use? Also, keep in mind at your workplace you may be unable to listen to VF Radio if your employer is running a firewall (VF Radio is running from a different port).
Try opening your media player, select open URL and copy/paste the following:

*If you are on a Mac, you may use iTunes in place of Winamp.

dell desktop, lenovo laptop, no-name desktop, Windows 98, 2000, XP. I have tried ALL of the players (real, quicktime, windows, winamp).
Everything was fine until the request system was announced. I know it should not be the reason - but it has to be more than coincidental.
other sites with a unique port ID seem to work though - so it could be 8000 is too generic of a port.

The port number is different than the previous version of the radio, but that should not affect your access to the radio unless either: 1) Your internet service provider is blocking that particular port or 2) Your computer's firewall/internet security software is blocking that port.
